    Alright. Let's have it.

We lost one, in a depressing manor seeings as we out shot out played etc and should have won, then we won one, admittedly to a "lesser" team. I'd like to see the side Moyes put out at midweek start again. Why not? They proved they wanted it on Weds, give them a shot.

Ewood park is going to be a very tough game though....

Everton team to face Blackburn: Howard, Neville, Distin, Jagielka, Baines, Heitinga, Arteta, Fellaini, Osman, Barkley, Anichebe.

Not happy with Vic starting. I don't know why we don't use Yakubu if we aren't selling him.

I'm not happy we aren't using the same lineup as midweek. These players better prove Moyes right today, that's all I'm sayin'!

very frustrating first half... really annoyed with the team Moyes put out. By all accounts our Weds team was on top of their game. Today's side seems disjointed. NOT happy.

I get so frustrated because we've seen how this team can really play - stellar performances against top sides - and so for them to mail it in (although to be fair this isn't the WORST they've played) pisses me off... like at least give it everything you have, and if we lose, well at least it was a good game.

blah... COYB!!! Moyes you need to fire these boys up with your HT talk. They need to have fun with it and then the goals will come.

Barkley showing his age just now by turning over the ball and fouling the guy for a penalty. Thankfully Howard stopped it.

2 penalties dodged. Unbelievable. Hard to figure why this team seems to have the same chance of winning vs a good side as it does vs a poor one.

yeah. felli's ok. it was a bit of a weak penalty to give, because felli never jumped just sort of stood between two players who were jumping, and the arms of the one behind him came down on him.

Thank God Arteta got it... I was like "why is he taking it??? where's Baines????"

Doesn't feel good to win this though. A horrible piss poor performance all around. :( Even BAINES didn't show up today. I hope he's ok!!!! Tim Howard, Anichebe and Cahill all were on their games as far as I'm concerned, and while Arteta wasn't at his best, he's getting there... just tough to do stuff when 3 players descend on you and kick your legs every time you get the ball...

anyway. 3points is 3 points. so onwards and upwards Moysies army!!!

A win is a win is a win, the toffees lost this fixture last year so winning it this early is awesome.

why did i have to put tim howard on the bench today in fantasy PL :(

    What a wacky victory.

Blackburn outplayed us by a mile, and yet we somehow manage to come out on top.

On the bright side, Tim Howard was absolutely awesome in net. But our defense sure looks rusty.

Maybe a "fluke" win like this one will give us a boost and help us avoid another horrid early season.

Formica had no interest in playing. Just diving to win freekicks/penalties.

Absolutely livid here with Mason on that second one.

Fellaini's was as much a penalty as Formica's second.

    Justice.

I don't think Formica dove, but he did intentionally draw contact to stage a dramatic fall.

We've had a few forwards in the past who've done the same -- Yakubu and Saha come to mind -- so I don't think we should complain too much about Formica's antics.

3 points on the road is a good thing. I think everyone would really be livid today if they had lost that match. Glass is half full this morning for me.

    Howard kicked ass yesterday. :)

I don't think he dove on one of them. It was reminiscent of Donovan's bait in his game vs Chelsea. He put his defender in a compromising position and all he had to do was draw the contact. Make a move into the outstretched leg and go down. It was heady, but it was possible to avoid the tackle.

Out of position because he's being played out of position. I'd be willing to sell Jags to move Rodwell into the backline/split with Heitinga.

I remember that play, the contact could have been avoided for sure.

In similar plays, if it doesn't produce a goal... like it didn't for Donovan/Saha in that game, or for Blackburn in this game, perhaps it is karma :p
