12th minute, first action I've seen from Howard, he aggressively comes out to claim a through ball.

Everton's pair of fullbacks is about as good of a 2-way pair as you'll see. Coleman is doing a Deion Sanders shut down corner imitation, and y'all know how the two get into the attack.

Penalty shout for Barkley denied. EDIT: Should have been a free kick from 18 yards, 6 inches.

16th minute, Everton with 71% of the possession.

Howard about to take a goal kick. Hope he doesn't wear himself out.

20th minute, Palace offside, Howard to take the free kick.

Seriously, I'm posting every time Howard touches it. I missed the first 3 minutes because Time Warner didn't join the game right at the beginning. Palace looks very toothless.

    Famous last words.

Howard gets his hand on a cross. Palace converts on a scramble in the box. 1-0 Palace.

Baines had his pants pulled down on the goal. Everton is too wide open for me right now.

    28th minute.

Everton controlling the game but not really DOMINATING.

If you want to make the CL, you've got to win home games against the likes of CP.

34th minute, Everton had a half chance from Mirallas go high.

Vicious long shot beats Howard near side, but doesn't beat the post. The follow goes wide for a GK.

Lukaku very nearly scores but Speroni tips it around the post.

Everton's 6th corner comes to naught. 40th minute.

we say and think that, but CP is one of those in form teams right now. This game had draw written all over it to me. I hope Everton wins, but what a great job Pulis has done. He's proving himself a truly very good manager.

46th minute. Cross sort of turns into a shot, lands on top of the net.

Halftime. Jason Puncheon's goal the difference. 1-0 Palace.

Everton being a bit wasteful with attacks, losing too many balls with just slightly poor control. I agree with previous poster, a bit wide open right now, but Palace can only hit long shots at them currently. They had two good attacks through the right side with Delofeu wasting one opportunity and Lukaku hitting a nice shot forcing a save. The last opportunity should have been a cross from McGeady. They do seem to have the pace to trouble Palace on the outside, but they need to take the opportunities when they are presented.

As the second half wears on the crowd is going to get more and more on edge. A point here is not enough, at home, with a team like Palace. They really need to take all three. Arsene finds a way to get all the points he seems to need to squeak into the 4th place. Everton need to keep the door shut.

Naismith on for Delofeu, who dribbled past some people but couldn't come up with a convincing end product.

Howard with a good-not-great save on a close in shot from a poor angle and alot of traffic. Corner for Palace.

GOAL! 2-0 Palace. Header bounced over Howard's head. He looked bad on that one.

They look like the US team in the first 45 against Mexico a few weeks back.

Everton free kick from a dangerous spot, headed over the bar, 56th minute. Fans are whistling about CP GK timewasting.

Everton get one back. Long cross from right headed back across goal by Baines, Naismith bundles it in from 2 yards out. 61st minute. Speroni getting attention from the physio.

Called away to run some errands, but it looked/sounded like Everton controlled the game and had a chance or two.

I didn't understand not starting Naismith. He's been excellent recently.
