    Don't take offence.

Miss would suggest that they Beckham'd it. Meaning they didn't hit the target. They hit the target, it just so happened that the Portuguese #1 was there to stop it.

    Bring on Bilbao.

Capel is too important to be exhausted early in the 2nd half every game, there must be a better conditioning program for him than what he's using currently .

I wouldn't say played very well, but I'll go with heroic. :)

I agree that was a very soft PK called. True justice prevailed .

if it wasn for rui paricio, we wouldnt be here in the semi finals

he is a true lion like Vitor Damas

the best portuguese footballer after Cristiano Ronaldo at the moment

Athletic Bilbao will be tough, many will say they will win but many also said Man city would win and Metalist were the tournaments leading goal scorers ...

who knows what can happen but we are here and ready

Pretty much, and none of us probably thought we'd make it this far anyway. Could be a way to salvage this season.

Martins had a great game, like he usually has. One year ago he was sitting on the bench at Pinhalnovense (3rd tier) after leaving Belenenses (2nd tier) because he almost didn't have PT there.

That just proves that there are players who are built to play in strong teams and strong leagues but not in the lower, less technical leagues.
