I haven't been on here in a while, but from what I see, most feel exactly the same as I do: We have ********ed up and that Moyes is the wrong man to lead us. I was pretty much resigned to us doing a Liverpool and staying in the doldrums for as long as Moyes was in charge, until I saw a report that EL winners now get a berth in the Champions League the following season... We have definitely got the squad to win it, but do you think our players have the appetite for it?
Those two components are irrelevant until we have a manager with the competence to... well... do anything, really.
Fair point, actually... Gosh, this season is the most depressing season I have been through. Puts all the whining and moaning in 2003-6 in to stark context.
Exactly. No cares about Europa. With a competent manager and a couple of good signings, we should be aiming for the league.
The EL may be second tier in terms of Europe but we are no where near being able to win it than we are winning the CL.
I'm resigned to the fact that Moyes is here for a while. ******** it if we have the squad for it, why not? Besides Moyes of course.
