Sure hope DirecTV has this in HD, either of FSC+ (where it's not listed but the noon game was) or in the 480's.

    Thx,

    Jay!

Be careful what you wish for. Game on FSC+ in HD. However, only the top left quarter of the picture is actually being shown. Like it's been blown up or something.

23' after some back and forth where noone looked like doing anything, HBA plays an inch-perfect pass into a cutting Marveaux who speeds through the box and scores. 1-0.

35' Cisse scores on a giant rebound from the keeper. Ruled offside.

HBA down now with a knee-knock. Simpson down earlier. But Ba will be coming on for HBA in a moment.

1-0 half. Possesion split, but Maritimo don't look like scoring much. We should bag a second to ward off any unlucky bounces that could gift them a goal.

    50' Cisse off, Amalfitino on.

54' Krul had to make a save on a shot from distance.

Dinner's ready so I guess I'll have comments after I watch.

79' I guess I should have never turned it back on. What a disaster of a goal to give up. First off it looked like there was handball in the buildup after Taylor's header. Then the attacker waltzes through a static line of defense and rolls the ball through Krul's legs.

    Horrible.

Rumors were HBA is a hamstring, Cisse is recurrence of the back issue. We're so screwed it's not even funny.

Oh, we're in the final 32. Next game is for the top of the group. I guess there are some teams you want to avoid by finishing first. But probably an equal amount will be in second as well.

Hope we can add a player or two in the Jan window without being raped financially.

    Thx,

    Jay!
