-Sagna has never been better than any other. I prefer Réveillère.
-Koscielny was great in France but had horrible months in the EPL. It's okay if you say he's improved.
-Clichy didn't do better than Evra (whom I don't remember a single good match with les Bleus). I prefer Mathieu.
-Diarra is crap for 2 years.
-You can't except Saha not to be injured during the competition.
-Ribéry is crap in the NT and VERY disliked by everybody.
    -Malouda is crap.

Considering France are playing England in the group stage, I'd have to say Koscielny. It all comes down to familiarity with the opposition when forced to make a choice.

..And you should all make room for Gourcuff in your lists. You know he's going to get the call by June. :p

Haha Yoyo will be enjoying the Euros from his couch like the rest of us. I think Kosicenly is a shoe in for the squad. He had a shaky start to his career at Arsenal, but he has put in some outstanding performances lately. I agree with essie in saying that he is one of the best defenders in England right now. Best centerback in London at the very least haha. I'd call up Sagna, just because he's so reliable and consistent. He's a gread defender, and his attacking seems to have improved considerably this year.

    Adil Rami
    Phillipe Mexes
    Younes Kaboul or Kosicenly
    Mathieu Debuchy
    Mapou Yanga-M'Biwa
    Patrice Evra
    Aly Cissokho

Rami has played great this season in Spain. Some of you don't watch alot EPL games. Kaboul has just as good of a season as Kosicenly. He has been injured the last few weeks, and the Spurs backline has fallen apart without him. Mexes really doesn't deserved to picked over those two, but his has great chemistry with Rami, so either Kaboul or Kosicenly will not get picked for Euro 2012. Evra is slowing down, but he's still a good defender. I picked Cissokho because he's the best defender one on one defender we have at LB. Yanga-M'Biwa has had a great season for Montpellier, and he can play anywhere along the backline. The backline, I picked is very balanced and flexible.

Hard choice between Reveillere and Sagna but since our toughest group opponent is England, I have to say Sagna.

Many of you lot including Gomis in your lists. I think Blanc will make the same choice but lets hope he doesnt end up taking Hoarau instead.

I realize that. I would still personally prefer Gomis because I think his pivot role and technical abilities are superior to those of Gameiro.

you can't have only screwdrivers in your toolbox, you have to have a hammer too. that's why amandine errrr bafé is a must pick.

my little finger tells me ribéry is going to stay home. blanc made a statement that (reading between the lines) his patience with blank franck was just about at an end, that was before the robben brouhaha, which i'm sure lolo appreciated immensely.

I would be amaaazed if Franck stays home. But it would send a solid statement that no one's place is guaranteed.

Whew! I really thought you were serious. I've seen recent online discussions where people actually ask why Zidane isn't being called up.

personally I would prefer Platini because of those wicked free kicks he's got. could do wonders for us against teams that play lots of men back defending.
