    These probabilities seem quite correct.
    Blanc's squad may be this:

    Lloris
    Mandanda
    Carrasso

    Evra
    Abidal
    Mexès
    Réveillère
    Sakho
    Rami
    Debuchy

    Malouda
    M'Vila
    Cabaye
    Ribéry
    Nasri
    A.Diarra
    Martin
    Ménez
    Gourcuff

    Benzema
    Gameiro
    Giroud
    Rémy

my own squad would be different anyway:
    [LINEUP-4-5-1]Benzema,Ribéry,Ménez,Cabaye,Gourcuff,M'Vila,Evra,Givet,Mexès ,Réveillère,Lloris[/LINEUP-4-5-1]

    Substitutes:

    Costil
    Mandanda
    Mathieu
    Koscielny
    Rami
    Debuchy
    Griezmann
    Toulalan
    Nasri
    Rémy
    Gameiro
    Giroud

Imo, I'd start Matthieu over Abidal. As for left back, Debuchy has been amazing so far this season. I would start him over Rev or Sagna. Center backs is a no brainer, Mexes and Rami.

Abidal will be the starter. There's absolutely no doubt about that. It will be his last tournament. On contrary to Mathieu, he has a big NT experience. He knows the group, he knows the players and he's a starter in one of the best football teams ever.

If the only reason for putting Mathieu on the field is because he's been good for 3 months...

Amalfitano and Valbuena deserve to be picked based on how they are playing. Gourcuff has no chance of getting selected.

Yea Gourcuff will not see the squad I feel. Lauren Kosceinly has a real good chance to be on the bench for the squad.

I havent watched him at Manchester City lately but I hear that Nasri has been struggling of late. Anyone care to comment on that?

I wouldn't rule Gourcuff out just yet. If he starts impressing in the next few months anything can happen, especially considering he was France's top scorer during qualification. Plus, lately none of the attacking midfielders have really been impressing at their respective clubs.

Youve got a point. Blanc seems to bring a bit more out of him also.

Doesn't seem to be getting regular games. That team has Silva in his way so, he has to sit the bench.

nasri made a bad move going there IMO , but he should definitely be with us at euros.
i'd pick gourcuff if only because we know what he can do when he plays to potential.
id love blanc to give griezmann a shot soon, he's been fantastic

Gourcuff is in the same boat though, he's not producing regularily for club. I think he's had one really good game all year.

I posted that in regards to the earlier posts saying that Gourcuff had no chance of being in the team. If Nasri is struggling (Martin isn't exactly tearing it up either) then there isn't any reason to write Gourcuff out at this point. They're all on equal footing right now.

Morgan Amalfitano has better chances playing for France than Gourcuff at this point hes a starter plays in champions league im for it needs a call up

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVYmu3KmbFc"]Yoann Gourcuff || Class and Technique || [Re-Edited] - YouTube[/ame]

This video ought to remind everyone of the talent that we're talking about. Amazing when he's at his best ("Zidanesque") and I think Blanc brings the best out of him. IF he plays in the Euros and can regain his form then France will be a formidable threat. Plus, I was looking back at the England friendly and Gourcuff and Nasri played very well together in our win against England. Considering they are our strongest competitor in Group D, Blanc may be looking back at that performance when choosing the squad.

CoDave don't get me wrong i like Gourcuff alot theres a big waiting list for attack midfielders or Central midfielders im not adding wingers on this list more like BOX TO BOX
i do like the pair together Nasri & Gourcuff its magic on paper its the best

    1Marvin Martin,

    2Yohan Cabaye,

    3Morgan Amalfitano,

    4Mathieu Bodmer,

    5Moussa Sissoko,

If Gourcuff would have shown even a fraction of the skill in a Lyon shirt, that he does in that video, we wouldn't be having this conversation right now. We have to face the fact that he's not the same player, for what ever reason that maybe. Seeing as skill like that doesn't just evaporate into thin area, one would have to conclude that he's a headcase. Maybe the World cup did him in.

Gourcuff hasn't been at his top level recently but we know he is the most talented and he can play like in 2009, and it would be a shame let him at home.
Also Nasri isn't in a good moment after he leaved Arsenal because at City the key player in the midfield is David Silva, even if they can play together.

At the moment the best midfielder in Ligue 1 is Benjamin Corgnet, better than Amalfitano.
