Israel must win this game and beat Georgia on 29 March to have a chance to qualify. UEFA wrote http://en.uefa.com/uefaeuro2012/mat...background/index.html#israel latvia seek lift
I hope that Maor Melikson replaced Mohammed Ghadir. It would be a shame for us to lose him to Poland.
Here are the game probabilities based on the Bet365 odds: Israel win: 59.5% Draw: 24.9% Latvia win: 15.6%
What a bizzare line up! I read that Itzik Cohen will be in defense and Barda will team up with Damari up front. That is retarded when Toto Tammuz has been in such excellent form as of late.
so far 0-0 in croatia georgia game..... Yossi is on bench. everyone's injured. Aouate is hurt but playing someone's got to step up. This team also had a hand in taking us out out of the last qualifier....hopefully we come back hard at them.

thanks akhi unbeliveable.............georgia went up late and it's 1-0 with seconds to play. This can change the group and could be massive for us. wow.
It's called idiotic defending. what's the players doing, TC sucks ********kk.......get yossi and all strikers on. You can see this coming a mile away
Israel 2-1!!!!! Kayal heads beyond the Latvian keeper and Israel is still alive, if only on life support. It's certainly hard, as a fan, to watch the Israelis try to hold a 1-0 lead at home for 80 minutes or whatever. Especially when the team's strength is doing anything except defending against flighted balls into the box - which is the Latvian attacking method of choice. Latvia's big mistake was tying the game - they never looked in the same class as Israel once the Blue & White decided to attack, and Israel gave a bit of a possession master class holding the lead at the end. Also, exciting to see Benayoun warming up even if he wasn't needed as a late sub once they got ahead.
I watched at http://vurund.net/live.php?id=FOO1857Isr&link=1&matchname=Israel vs Latvia. Israel scored in the 16th minute (Barda), Latvia scored in the 62nd (Gorkss), and Israel scored in the 81st (Kayal) and won 2-1. Israel got two late yellow cards, one to Bibras Natcho and one to Talb Tawatha. Israel had more shots, 18 to 9, and more shots on target, 7 to 3, according to http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuro2012/matches/season=2012/round=15171/match=2002259/index.html
