I think Ukraine and Poland are a wash. Neither has been playing well lately.

I agree, but Ukraine has the more dangerous players in attack I think, and a good mix of youth and experience. I think Russia's attack would smoke Ukraine's defense though if given the chance.

Gut instinct alone tells me that Ukraine will get a manageable group.

I don't know, there was a big article in the Guardian about England's training facility in Krakow, so I think teams are setting up in certain areas regardless.

Well thats a relief. Most other countries are heading to Poland to set up shop. I guess you can train where ever regardless of where teams are seeded to play.

If you think about the travel distance in South Africa, and upcoming in Brazil and Russia, training in Wroclaw and traveling to Donetsk isn't even that far.

I think Kiev is what they were saying. The commentator seemed certain that Russia would be playing in Ukraine.

In the case Ukraine fields the same defense as against Germany - I fully agree. I have doubts about Russian forwards being able to puncture a Butko - Mykhalyk - Chyhrynskyi - Rakytskyi defense.

He must have the crystal ball. Otherwise it is only a 50% probability.

I think that Russia's approach would do well against those slugs.

No it was reported in the media as well and according to what he said today it's 100% that the camp will be in Ukraine. Though he might be going the conspiracy angle with him being sure about Russia playing in Ukraine.
