So I'm watching MLB's opening day, the Reds vs. Marlins game specifically, and noticed former Red and current ESPN color man/analyst is sporting proudly an AC Milan scarf. Not the first time I've seen him sport an AC Milan scarf as I spotted him recently in an airport with a similar one. Does anyone know if he's a big soccer fan, AC Milan, in particular? BTW, off topic, does anyone think his voice sounds remarkably close to Brian Dunseth's. Every time I hear Boone, I think so.
out of curiousity, whats with the whole scarf thing in soccer?? it just seems like a kind of random apparel to have coaches and fans wearing
Because football is a winter sport played from Fall to Spring. It gets cold in the stadiums, so people wear scarves. It's pretty spastic when people wear scarves to hot games. Then they complain that they are too hot because they are wearing scarves in the middle of summer.
whats the deal with "eurosnob"? everyone should wear what he/she wants to.he said that a fan of him, mailed him the scarf.as simple as that.chill dude.
oh okay that makes sense, and yeah seeing people wearing scarves at a game i saw that was played in like 75 degree weather confused me.
The best part is that he seemed to have no clue who AC Milan was. A fan sent it to him and he wore it for the colors.
