ESPN FC TV Schedule - ESPN2/ESPN News - Monday, April 14 - Saturday, April 26.

    Monday, April 14 - 12:00 am ET-1:00 am ET - ESPN2.
    Replay - Monday, April 14 - 8:00 am ET-9:00 am ET - ESPN News.

    Replay - Saturday, April 26 - 7:00 am ET-7:30 am ET - ESPN News.

LB: Yes, thats correct, the next two weeks ESPN FC will be shown at its normal day/time/channel for both the premiere/replay showings. (No premiere showings on ESPN News at say 11:00 pm ET or worse early next morning, no next day replays not being shown because they have to replay Sports Nation for the fifth time! etc) None of the problems we had the last couple of months when college basketball and other sports messed up the ESPN FC schedule.

Only one slight problem is this Wednesdays show - ESPN2 - 5:30 pm ET-6:00 pm ET - may not get many viewers LIVE because the Copa del Ray Final - Real Madrid vs Barcelona - LIVE on ESPN - 3:25 pm ET-5:30 pm ET - may go into extra time/penalty kicks and thus it will go head to head with ESPN FC. (Too bad ESPN FC couldn't be on ESPN just this one time. ESPN probably doesn't want to risk SportsCenter not starting on ESPN at 6:00 pm ET.) We may have to bring up WatchESPN.com on our computer etc to watch ESPN FC for a little bit late Wednesday afternoon. Or we could just record it and watch it whenever coverage of the Copa del Ray Final ends.

    Replay - Saturday, April 26 - 7:00 am ET-7:30 am ET - ESPN News.

LB: A non-ESPN FC scheduling note - if you missed 30 for 30: Hillsborough last Tuesday night, it will be repeated this evening - 10:00 pm ET-12:00 am ET - ESPN2. Thus the documentary will be the lead-in to the one hour ESPN FC show. (If you miss it then, it will be replayed on Monday evening - 9:00 pm ET-11:00 pm ET - ESPN2.) Too bad ESPN/MLS didn't have a match scheduled in the 7:30 pm ET-10:00 pm ET time slot. You could have had the match on ESPN2 and thus ESPN would have had a night of soccer programs (a match, a documentary and a recap show) on the channel - 7:30 pm ET to 1:00 am ET.

    Replay - None scheduled.

    Friday, May 9 - 7:00 pm ET-7:30 pm ET - ESPN News.
    Replay - None scheduled.

Sorry for not posting this yesterday, just totally forgot to do it.

Thats not a typo, the ESPN FC replays on ESPN News are going to be shown an hour earlier than usual. ESPN News is showing another replay (just in case you missed the other three replays on ESPN News and the orginial showing on ESPN2.) of Olbermanns nightly talk show during the 8:00 am ET hour. This is only a one week change as according to the online listings at TVGuide.com/ESPNMediazone.com - we are back to 8:00 am ET-8:30 am ET replays on ESPN News next week.

ESPN FC on Thursday/Friday are getting bumped from ESPN2 to ESPN News and are being shown in the early morning/evening on Friday due to a special NFL Draft Editions of College Football LIVE - which will be on ESPN2 - 5:00 pm ET-6:00 pm ET - both days.

For some reason, Thursdays shows of Around The Horn/Pardon The Interruption are being repeated on Friday morning and the second half-hour of Fridays Numbers Never Lie is being repeated on Saturday morning. This is why no repeats of the Thursdays/Fridays ESPN FC shows on ESPN News.

They REALLY had to bring in Julie Foudy on Thursday night's show to talk Julian Green's chances of playing in the World Cup?

    Replay - None.

LB: A NCAA softball regional game - 4:30 pm ET-6:30 pm ET is the reason no Friday ESPN FC show - 5:30 pm ET-6:00 pm ET - on ESPN2. The last half-hour of the Friday edition of Sports Nation is the reason no replay on Saturday - 7:00 am ET-7:30 am ET - on ESPN News.

I noticed Mondays show (Sunday US time) had a lot more MLS highlights than normal, I expected this once the European sessions finished maybe this new MLS deal has already made a influence.

Surprised ESPNFC used Jason Dasey to do there preview on Australia, he was one of the original host of the Australian version of Sportscenter so its been a while since he has made an appearance. The last I heard of him he was working in television in a South East Asian country and I believe he is still living there. By the way he was introduced I am guessing he will be previewing all the Asian country

ESPNFC should of waited until today to do there Australian preview as there would of been more information on our official squad as they are announcing it later this morning. Have also notice of late that during the ESPNFC spot where they usually say to check your local listing for the next show they are starting to make special notes when the program is not airing normally like last night Dan Thomas made special mention the program was starting at an hour earlier at 7pm due to live tennis. Will be interesting to see how the program runs during the World Cup it looks like ESPN will be creating a separate ESPNFC program for there International station

ESPN has decided to make some changes to their TV schedule for next Wednesday night. Orginially this special was to have been shown after the second episode of "Inside-United States Soccer-March To Brazil" which was scheduled to be on ESPN2 - 9:00 pm ET-9:30 pm ET. I'm guessing ESPN has decided that these specials on the United States Soccer Team should premiere on ESPN so they moved the second episode to the channel and it will now be shown - 10:00 pm ET-10:30 pm ET or whenever the Los Angeles Dodgers at New York Mets baseball game that will be on before it ends. So we don't have two soccer programs premiering head to head, the ESPN FC World Cup Special was moved up a half-hour on ESPN2 and will be shown - 9:00 pm ET-10:00 pm ET.

ESPN FC TV Schedule - ESPN2/ESPN News - Monday, May 26 - Friday, May 30.

    Monday, May 26 - 1:00 am ET-2:00 am ET - ESPN2. Replay - None.
    Monday, May 26 - Thursday, May 29 - 5:30 pm ET-6:00 pm ET - ESPN2. Replays - None.
    Friday, May 30 - 5:00 pm ET-6:00 pm ET - ESPN2.
    Replay - Saturday, May 31 - 7:00 am ET-7:30 am ET - ESPN News.

LB: Yes, there are no next-day morning replays on ESPN News - at least Monday though Friday. The reason for this is that the Mike and Mike show is being moved from ESPN2 to ESPN News so ESPN2 can show LIVE coverage of the French Open Tennis Tournament.

Why is Fridays show moved up a half-hour and will be on for 60 minutes? Its special LIVE edition of ESPN FC and it will be taking place from Times Square in New York City. Probably has something to do with the United States Mens World Cup Team. The team will be in the area as they play Turkey in a Pre-World Cup match on Sunday afternoon at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey.

Since Mike and Mike isn't shown on ESPN2 on Saturday mornings, Fridays show will be replayed on ESPN News at its usual 7:00 am ET start time. Although its only currently scheduled to be on for 30 minutes instead of 60 minutes. (Will it be an edited version of Fridays show? or a whole new show?)

The one-hour special will focus solely on the United States Mens National Soccer Team - a program that will compete in its seventh straight World Cup this summer in Brazil.

ESPN FC TV Schedule - ESPN2/ESPN News - Monday, June 2 - Saturday, June 7.

    Monday, June 2 - 12:00 am ET-1:00 am ET - ESPN2.
    Replay - Monday, June 2 - 8:00 am ET-9:00 am ET - ESPN News.

    Monday, June 2 - 5:30 pm ET-6:00 pm ET - ESPN2.
    Replay - Tuesday, June 3 - 8:00 am ET-8:30 am ET - ESPN News.

    1) Wednesday, June 4 - 12:00 am ET-12:30 am ET - ESPN News.
    3) Replay - None.

    Wednesday, June 4 - 5:30 pm ET-6:00 pm ET - ESPN2.
    Replay - Thursday, June 5 - 8:00 am ET-8:30 am ET - ESPN News.

    Thursday, June 5 - 5:30 pm ET-6:00 pm ET - ESPN 2.
    Replay - Friday, June 6 - 8:00 am ET-8:30 am ET - ESPN News.

    2) Saturday, June 7 - 12:00 am ET-12:30 am ET - ESPN News.
    4) Replay - None.

    1) The reason for no ESPN FC on Tuesday, June 3 - 5:30 pm ET-6:00 pm ET - is because ESPN2 is showing the French Open Tennis Tournament - Mens and Womens Quarterfinals - 1:00 pm ET-7:00 pm ET.

    2) The reason for no ESPN FC on Friday, June 6 - 5:30 pm ET-6:00 pm ET - is because ESPN2 is showing a NCAA Baseball Super Regional Game - 4:00 pm ET-7:00 pm ET.

    3) The reason for no next-day morning replay on Wednesday, June 4 - 8:00 am ET-8:30 am ET - ESPN News is showing the last two hours of the Mike and Mike show - 8:00 am ET-10:00 am ET. (The last two hours of the Mike and Mike show gets moved to ESPN News because ESPN2 is showing the French Open Tennis Tournament - Mens and Womens Quarterfinals - 8:00 am ET-1:00 pm ET.)

    4) The reason for no next-day morning replay on Saturday, June 7 - 7:00 am ET-7:30 am ET - ESPN News has to replay Fridays edition of SportsNation because people can't seem to watch the other five times its been on. Then they go ahead and replay it again at 7:30 am ET. Why can't ESPN FC get one of these timeslots for a replay?

Note - Fridays one hour special edition of ESPN FC - "United States Mens National Team Fan Appreciation Day" - did replay yesterday morning on ESPN News for the whole hour - 7:00 am ET-8:00 am ET.

    Monday, June 2 - 12:00 am ET-1:00 am ET - ESPN2.
    Replay - Monday, June 2 - 8:00 am ET-9:00 am ET - ESPN News.

Update - There will be no morning replay of the one hour show - ESPN News - 8:00 am ET-9:00 am ET.
ESPN2 is showing French Open Tennis Tournament this morning - 5:00 am ET-10:00 am ET.
So Mike and Mike was moved from ESPN2 to ESPN News - 6:00 am ET-10:00 am ET.

Sorry about the late update. I didn't know about this change until I woke up this morning and saw that ESPN2 was showing the French Open Tennis Tournament. Must have been a late change as my on-the screen TV guide as of last night still had Mike and Mike listed for ESPN2 - 6:00 am ET-10:00 am ET.

ESPN FC TV Schedule - ESPN2/ESPN News - Monday, June 9 - Wednesday, June 11.

    1) Monday, June 9 - 12:30 am ET-1:30 am ET (?) - ESPN2.
    2) Replay - None.

    3) No show - Monday, June 9 - 5:30 pm ET-6:00 pm ET - ESPN2.

    Tuesday, June 10 - 5:30 pm ET-6:00 pm ET - ESPN2.
    Replay - Wednesday, June 11 - 8:00 am ET-8:30 am ET - ESPN News.

    4) No show - Wednesday, June 11 - 5:30 pm ET-6:00 pm ET - ESPN2.

LB: That is it - only two shows scheduled. The show in this format will not be on during the World Cup.

    1) The show could also be delayed some as ESPN2 not only has a College Baseball Super Regional game scheduled - 9:00 pm ET-12:00 am ET but NBA Tonight (recap of Game #2 of the NBA Finals) scheduled to be shown after the college baseball game ends - 12:00 am ET-12:30 am ET. So if you have to record the show tonight, I would just record ESPN2 - 12:30 am ET-4:00 am ET or so - just to be safe.

    2) The reason for no replay on ESPN News - 8:00 am ET-9:00 am ET - is because ESPN News has a repeat of SportsCenter scheduled for then. Not sure why SportsCenter is on there - yet alone a repeat - as a LIVE one is scheduled for ESPN in the same time slot. If you miss recording the first showing via ESPN2, I would record ESPN News - 8:00 am ET-9:00 am ET and who knows you may get ESPN FC there.

    3) The reason no show is scheduled for Monday, June 9 - 5:30 pm ET-6:00 pm ET - is because there is a College Baseball Super Regional game - Maryland vs Virginia - scheduled to be on ESPN2 - 4:00 pm ET-7:00 pm ET. Note: That is Game #3 of that Super Regional and Maryland is up 1-0 with Game #2 being played this afternoon. Maryland wins that game, they will win the series and Game #3 won't be played. Since ESPN2 will then need to fill those three hours - the one hour edition of ESPN FC may be repeated in the 5:30 pm ET-6:30 pm ET time slot.

Usually when this happens, the show is on ESPN News later in the evening/early next morning. My guess the ESPN FC crew has the day off due to it being a a travel day for them as they will be heading down to Brazil then.

    4) The reason for no ESPN FC - Wednesday, June 11 - 5:30 pm ET-6:00 pm ET - is because ESPN2 starts their "30 for 30 - Inside United States Soccer - The March To Brazil" marathon then. All the episodes are going to repeated - 5:30 pm-9:30 pm ET with a special LIVE episode from Brazil being shown - 9:30 pm ET-10:00 pm ET.

Interesting read LB on how the program is running in the US this week, ESPN FC on ESPN Australia seems to be running as per normal until the World Cup starts and then it goes a bit crazy in the way of them having live and first run episodes in the morning or early afternoon with many repeats. It clear that ESPN will be creating a International version of ESPN FC for the duration of the world cup

All times listed in Australian Eastern and is on ESPN unless stated otherwise

    Monday, June 9 - SDD 8pm, repeated at 1am and 7am
    Tuesday, June 10 - SDD 8pm, repeated at 1am and 7am
    Wednesday, June 11 - SDD 8pm, repeated at 1am and 7am
    Thursday, June 12 - SDD 8pm, repeated at 1am and 5am
    Friday, June 13 - Live 8am repeated at 8:30am, 10am, 1pm (ESPN2) 8pm
    Saturday, June 14 - SDD 11:30am (ESPN2), 12:30pm, 2pm (ESPN2), 8pm
    Sunday, June 15 - SDD 1pm, 1:30pm, 2pm (ESPN2), 2:30pm (ESPN2), 8pm

Slightly off topic - but is Martyn Tyler going to be doing commentary in Australia for this World Cup, as he did last time?

Update - 3) Virginia won Game #2 - 7-3 - so there will be a Game #3 of that College Baseball Super Regional played on Monday - 4:00 pm ET-7:00 pm ET - ESPN2. So ESPN2 doesn't have to fill those hours with other programs. There will be only one showing of the hour ESPN FC show - Monday - 12:30 am ET-1:30 am ET (?) - ESPN2. Unless there was a scheduling error - see 2) - and the hour ESPN FC show will indeed be repeated - Monday - 8:00 am ET-9:00 am ET - ESPN News.

ESPN FC TV Schedule - ESPN2/ESPN News - Monday, June 9 - Wednesday, June 11.

    1) Monday, June 9 - 12:30 am ET-1:30 am ET (?) - ESPN2.
    3) No show - Monday, June 9 - 5:30 pm ET-6:00 pm ET - ESPN2.

Update - Coverage of the college baseball game ended at 12:00 am ET so NBA Tonight will be shown - 12:00 am ET-12:30 am ET and ESPN FC will be shown - 12:30 am ET-1:30 am ET.

    3) Virginia won Game #2 - 7-3 - so there will be a Game #3 of that College Baseball Super Regional played on Monday - 4:00 pm ET-7:00 pm ET - ESPN2.

Update - The NCAA/ESPN changed their schedule around and Game #3 of the Virginia-Maryland Super Regional will be played - 7:00 pm ET-10:00 pm - ESPNU. There will still be a game on ESPN2 in the 4:00 pm-7:00 pm ET time slot and that will be Game #3 of the Pepperdine-Texas Christian University Super Regional. So ESPN2 still doesn't have to fill those three hours with other programs.

Update - Nope, its not the only showing of the hour ESPN FC show - there was indeed a scheduling error and the show was repeated - Monday - 8:00 am ET-9:00 am ET - ESPN News. So after all me posting about the show being delayed/not shown, the hour ESPN FC show wounded up being shown at its scheduled times this week - Monday - 12:30 am ET-1:30 am ET - ESPN2 and Monday - 8:00 am ET-9:00 am ET - ESPN News.

Episode #7 - which was a look back at the week-long preparation for the match vs Nigeria/the team leaving for/arriving in Brazil - was shown on ESPN twice last night - 8:30 pm ET-9:00 pm ET and 9:30 pm ET-10:00 pm ET. (It was also repeated last night on ESPN2 - 10:30 pm ET-11:00 pm ET. Episode #6 - the one that look back at all the happenings in NYC/the match vs Turkey - was repeated before it - on ESPN2 - 10:00 pm ET-10:30 pm ET.)

Episode #8 - The Finale - will be shown tonight - 9:30 pm ET-10:00 pm ET - ESPN2. Its scheduled to be a studio show and be LIVE from Brazil.

Episodes #1-#7 will be repeated - 6:00 pm ET-9:30 pm ET - ESPN2 - as a lead-in to the LIVE finale. (They are scheduled to start the marathon with Episode #1 - although if I did my math right, some of the episodes will have to be shorten so they can fit footage from all 7 episodes into that 3 1/2 hour time slot. )

ESPN FC TV Schedule - ESPN2/ESPN News - Monday, July 14 - Friday, July 18.

    Premiere - Monday, July 14 - 6:00 pm ET - 6:30 pm ET - ESPN News.
    Replay - Tuesday, July 15 - 2:00 am ET - 2:30 am ET - ESPN2.

    Premiere - Tuesday, July 15 - 6:00 pm ET - 6:30 pm ET - ESPN News.
    Replay - Wednesday, July 16 - 2:00 am ET - 2:30 am ET - ESPN2.

    Premiere - Thursday, July 17 - 3:30 am ET - 4:00 am ET - ESPN2.
ESPN FC is not scheduled for Wednesday, July 16 - 6:00 pm ET - 6:30 pm ET - ESPN News.
ESPN is showing something called ESPN Day Special - 4:00 pm ET - 7:00 pm ET - ESPN News.
The Thursday morning showing is the only scheduled showing of the Wednesday, July 16 ESPN FC show.
(Too bad ESPN can't air ESPN FC - 6:30 pm ET - 7:00 pm ET - as a lead-in to the MLS Match - Philadelphia Union vs New York Red Bulls - thats on ESPN2 - 7:00 pm ET - 9:00 pm ET.)

    Premiere - Thursday, July 17 - 6:00 pm ET - 6:30 pm ET - ESPN News.
    Replay - Friday, July 18 - 3:30 am ET - 4:00 am ET - ESPN2.

    Premiere - Friday, July 18 - 6:00 pm ET - 6:30 pm ET - ESPN News.
Replay - None scheduled for Saturday, July 19 - ESPN2 or ESPN News.

LB - So as you can see we have some changes -
    1) The premiere showing of ESPN FC has switched channels - we go from ESPN2 to ESPN News.
    2) The premiere showing of ESPN FC now airs a half-hour later - starts 6:00 pm ET - ends 6:30 pm ET.
    3) The replay of ESPN FC has also switched channels - we go from ESPN News to ESPN2.
    4) The time of the replay has also changed. We go from a late breakfast showing - 8:00 am ET - 8:30 am ET
to a early morning showing - 2:00 am ET - 2:30 am or 3:30 am ET - 4:00 am ET.
    5) We lose the Saturday morning replay.

If your wondering about the hour long ESPN FC show - it returns Monday, July 21 - 12:00 am ET - 1:00 am ET - ESPN2. There is no scheduled replay later that morning on ESPN News like there was pre-World Cup.
(ESPN would rather replay SportsCenter Top Ten Plays Of The Month/SportsNation Top 44 Jeers Of The Month back to back for 8-9 straight hours on ESPN News instead of giving ESPN FC just one hour to repeat their show.)

disappointing but not shocking that the overall interest in soccer isn't strong, or concentrated enough, to sustain a daily studio show in that slot.
