FYI... Due to Univision having spanish language rights in the USA, ESPN Deportes will broadcast al the games in Portuguese....very good for us porkchops here in the USA...it will most likely be brazilian commentators...I can't stand their accents
Old news, but I'm sure there were people around here who didn't know. (Not sure if it got posted here when it was announced a few months back)
But surely they are better / know more than either the American or -god help us- the Univision dorks (those are truly awful commentators)? Who has the rights to the American broadcasts? Does anybody have a schedule for the TV Guide showings in the US (eastern, AT&T Uverse?). Thanks! -Alex
LOL. Yeah, they do love that name. Anyhow - I just read somewhere else that ESPN is pretty much going to stop everything to cover the WC this summer. All 64 games will be shown LIVE! - on ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC. Awesome. In the US. Hard to believe.
They did that for the last World Cup, too. And pretty sure 2002. Anyways, I heard Univision is going HD, if so, I know what I'll be watching come June.
Awesome clip, love those spanish commentators. Just hated them when they did Portugal-Spain match in the Euro 2004, and the "La Madre Patria" crap. They just keep saying it time, and time again.
Your right Univision doesn't carry Euro, but I had it on PPV through Dish, in either English or Spanish. The Spanish commentators were the same Univision dudes.
