Well the girls are getting blasted by Mexico 7-0 66 minute. Well FESFUT needs to either not bother with a female side or actually find the resources to help the girls side but I doubt that will ever happen since it costs money.
The girls won the last game by the minimum but I think the combination of lack of preparation and the pitch (by the look of it I'm leaning more to the pitch) made for a lack luster game.
The girls lost by ironically the same score they won the first game 2-1 against Guatemala. The competition starts on the 20th.
The girls got off to a good start picking up 3 points against Nicaragua they won 2-0 could have been 3 but they blocked the PK. So far they need a win against CR to qualify to the GC for a chance to qualify to the Women's WC. This won't be easy since CR quite possibly has the best women's team in CA, if they manage a draw the need to hope that Nicaragua can hold them at bay with either a small loss or a draw on the last match date. In the other group Guatemala beat Panama 1-0 while Honduras routed Belize 8-0.
I'm a bit confused by what happens now usually there is a match between the second place teams to qualify to the Central American and Caribbean games, but with Canada hosting the 2015 WC in theory they shouldn't participate in the GC which is the final quals not sure what the story is on that.

You know we haven't been giving the gals enough love. First of Alejandra Herrera scored Rivers only goal in a 3-1 defeat against San Lorenzo this is back on May 26th. Both here and Karen were starters (Karen was subbed off in the second half. http://www.edhdeportes.com/articulo...-estreno-como-goleadora-con-river-plate-24142 Alejandra continued her scoring account this time against Villa San Carlos in a 2-0 victory her goal came from the penalty spot. Karen did not see action I believe illness was the cause. http://www.culebritamacheteada.com.sv/herrera-anota-y-river-plate-femenino-gana/ NT News The U20 are trying to get ready for the round robin to qualify to the CONCACAF Championship being held by Honduras hence the round robin. They are currently playing a series of games against Nicaragua only one game left (they will have played each other 4 times), it would be nice if they could schedule someone other than Nicaragua. Quick note Darwin and Oscars sister Brenda is on the squad. 1st game summary L: 0-2 May 21st http://www.culebritamacheteada.com.sv/el-salvador-cae-ante-nicaragua-en-amistoso-femenino/ 2nd game W: 3-1 May 23rd http://www.culebritamacheteada.com.sv/victoria-con-solvencia-ante-nicaragua/ 3rd game summary W: 2-1 June 4th http://www.culebritamacheteada.com.sv/el-salvador-sub-20-femenino-supera-a-nicaragua/ Final game will be on June 6th. Oh wow, totally forgot about the River Plate duo. Btw, FIFA 16 will introduce women's national team. Highly unlikely but hopefully ES is one of them.
The girls won the last game 3-0. We took the series 3-1 hopefully they can find some more opponents are at least keep the girls in good shape for the competition ahead. The girls are all set for tomorrow they begin against Costa Rica the toughest of the girls teams. Selección Sub-20 femenina reconocerá cancha a las 6:30 hora Panameña. pic.twitter.com/ndjHAiGaIT— La Selecta (@LaSelecta_SLV) July 30, 2015
The girls begin with a 5-1 loss to CR not surprising considering that they have the strongest girls NT in UNCAF. Brenda Ceren scored the lone goal in 90+2.
Well the girls have one foot out the door as the lost once again this time to the host Panama 2-1, Brenda scored once again but they couldn't salvage a point.
Note that Honduras withdrew from the tournament and that the top 2 teams qualify. All games will be played in Managua.
Once again our fitness killed us, we were toe to toe with costa Rica (and yes they are more skillful) and we started frustrating them, but like across all the football teams in el salvador we faded away and soon they overpowered us. Seriously perhaps we need to set up something like projecto azul and pay for our fitness coach, our nutrition coaches and our coaches to go do some program and studies abroad and learn so they can start passing their knowledge and diet onto players. Sending them to areas such as Mexico, USA, Chile, Australia, England, Spain, Portugal, netherlands, germany, sweden, norway, finland, france and many more.
