Wason isn't in the MLS why isn't this in the Wason Thread. I say MLS > Greece unless you are in a champions league team. I prefered when Toja was at Dallas than him at Arias. I was able to see him and hear good things. I think we are way more likely to call a MLS player than a Greece based player. Same goes for Wason

El dice que estuvo jugando bien con Once hasta que eliminaron al equipo, e hizo los goles para comprobarlo, y el Cruz Azul dice que todavia esta enfermo.. si fue o no fue convocado a la seleccion por sus problemas de salud..ese es el dilema.
No fue convocado por que no tenia cupo habian 6 delnateros que llamaron en mejor actualidad que el(incluyendo un compañero de equipo) y desde hace rato con continuidad, no los 4 meses gloriosos de wason que nadie se los niega.....Ya pare con el tema el man es bueno, pero entienda tiene que hacer mas para ser considerado por la seleccion

increible.. un jugador de la MLS (Diego Chará) juega un partido en las eliminatorias! Alguien se acuerda cual fue la ultima vez que un jugador Colombiano de la MLS jugo en las eliminatorias?
Respuesta: Es la MLS mortal para ser convocado a la seleccion? El actual entrenador jugó varios años en la MLS (aunque no recuerdo si fue convocado estando allá). Es lógico que Leonel haya acabado con el estigma.

He has the best chance of being called up again from MLS for a future FIFA date. Especially if he continues his great string of goals this playoff run. Then you have guys like Valdez and Mondragon who could get a non fifa date cups of coffee against some small team from the concacaf.

I am not saying it is likely for Montero to be called up soon, I am just saying he is the most likely to be called up from MLS if he continues to dominate the league and keep his name in the media headlines.

Falcao and Teo are not going to be benched so their really no reason to call him. I see him more playing on the wings where J-Rod and Dayro/Pabon already have that spot on lock. Montero is in a shitty place because he has a strikers doing well in Portugal, Spain, Germany, England, Mexico, Argentina and soon Brazil(Wason at Santos). Montero really needs to go to a top league because even if he goes to Holland I doubt he will get a call up

No one is saying Montero is ready for the National team right now. What I am saying is out of all of the MLS talents he is the one I think would be called up the soonest... ...eventually.
Montero could be the best forward in the MLS, but there are at least 5 (more like 8) Colombian strikers ahead of him so only a further improvement and a move to a top league or injury to most of the crowd ahead of him will open a spot for him... Chara is not the best Defensive Midfielder in MLS, but that position is thin with our NT so he has a fair chance of being called back...
Not in the top 5, he's far too inconsistent. Talent wise? He's up with Henry. I do think there is a chance he could go on a scoring rampage next year scoring a goal a game or something like that, he has the ability and the quality around him to do it. Then I could see him getting a chance. Colombia does have a VERY deep attacking pool. I think if he transfers to Europe or Brazil he'll be in the national team in no time.
Argentina maybe. Brazil no. We have had guys go to Brazil and do well and the Fed ignores them. I still can't forgive Lara for ignoring Mao Molina when he was kicking some major arse for Santos.
