Huge match... With 3 games to play, and Montenegro being the last away, we need 3 massive points against Bulgaria. Bulgaria will also know that losing this match will essentially give them no hope whatsoever of qualifying.

Bulgaria have improved under their new coach. They wont be the same shambolic team that got smoked 4-0 in the opener .

Bent and Lescott pull out of training today.. Have to say that's probably good for us because Lescott shouldn't be near our team and Bent shouldn't be playing either, especially now we have Welbeck, Sturridge etc coming through

Capello says Darren Bent isn't 100% fit. Groin injury. Will be tested tonight.

If he doesnt make it ,he wont be replaced.
Capello likes to go into a big games short handed as much as Pearce .

    ---------Hart
    Richards--Jones--Terry--Cole
    -Lampard--Parker--Cleverley
    -A.Johnson--Rooney--Young

Please. Somehow I expect we'll see this instead though, unfortunately:

    ------------Hart
    Richards--Terry--Lescott--Cole
    Walcott--Lampard--Barry--Milner
    ---Rooney--Bent

Also, I'd start Richards over Smalling for this game, because it's a bit of a big game to throw Smalling out into

The 4-3-3 in Wales looked the most fluid system I have seen us play in years.
Next game Capello bins it for some 4-5-1 crap with milner on the left .

Bent doesn't train so looks to be out of this game now.

Well if walcott and young play than it aint a 4-3-3 .
You cant have two wingers in a 4-3-3 .. that would make it a 4-5-1 .

Walcott rarely ever shows up at club level let alone internationals .

Adam Johnson is far superior to Walcott... Walcott is good off the bench against tired legs, but he is too clumsy and doesn't fit well into a fluid line up.. I don't understand Capello's hunch with Adam Johnson..

Don't understand why Capello continues to favour certain players when there are better options. His "experience" rhetoric has gone out the window when proven that Green shat on that notion in the WC, with one of the best premier league keepers sat on the bench. Lescott, Barry, Milner, etc..

Bloody hell. Alot of moaning over unconfirmed formations/line ups. Don't see what the issue is.

It's amazing isn't it.. at least SWP has finally stopped being picked.

There just seems to be no planning at all in the England set up.. picking players like Lescott is pointless when he's never going to play an important part for England. His place would be much better suited to a younger player.

Hopefully by the time we play Montenegro in October Sturridge will have done well for Chelsea and Welbeck will be back so that we can get rid of deadwood like Bent and Defoe.

Yeah, can only hope.. Not sure how much playing time Sturridge will receive. Welbeck needs 3 to 4 weeks of recoup...

Well what is the moaning about? Who is being kept in the team that doesn't deserve it?

Lescott is playing for one of the top teams and he doesn't deserve a squad place now? Why not? Who deserves one ahead of him now?

People are moaning for the sake of moaning.
