Best we've seen from Kane in the Spurs first team, two assists a penalty shout and could have scored from a header towards the end. Zeki Fryers was very good at centre back as well, I'd keep him in the starting line up coming game.
Going off the highlights Bamford looked very good today. Lovely assist for one of the goals. George Thorne also got a rare start in the same game. Tom Carroll started for QPR for the first time in a while and apparently did well. Also Ravel played well and Redknapp praised him after the game -
Some of the stuff journalists say makes sense and some of it doesn't but, in general, I tend to listen to people who have earned their living managing or coaching in the game, (as opposed to those who have simply played it), rather than people who try and tell OTHERS what they can often see with their own eyes. Most journalists know next to nothing about the game which wouldn't matter if they didn't pontificate with such certainty.
He's a very good finisher, scoring a goal approx. every other game on loan since MK Dons loan 2012 to Derby today. But who can really honestly say having proved himself at this level he'll be given a chance to play regularly at Chelsea next season ?! any other league in Europe probably (esp. Bundesliga). Extended stay with Derby maybe if they win through the play offs. Hope to be proved wrong!
I don't think Chelsea have any intention of using him next season, nor McEachran. They're in the shop window in the Championship and will be gone when a decent offer comes in.
Don't disagree with you Jenks, unfortunately Chelsea as we know are "stock piling" potential youth players with only true regard for the truly exceptional being unearthed. Whereas for me Southampton FC should be held as the epitomised ideal for youth development for EPL clubs, developing, nurturing, maturing...playing young talent! an ethos that is serving them so well!
Unless you are a legit talent like say a 16/17 Rooney for example then to me there is next to no point in joining a club like Chelsea as a youngster because the chances of breaking through are slim to none because there record of giving young players a chance is truly embarrassing
Magath continues with the youngsters- Patrick Roberts now on probably should be in the U-18/U-19 thread but glad to see someone giving the young lads a go
one of the few positives of Fulham going down may be that if and when they go down they will most likely have to rely on their youngsters, many of them English, to help get them back up
http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/26823304 just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water
probably going to suggest a Ravel Morrison thread pretty soon as both sides do not want to budge an inch on this and frankly it is burying the news on the other U-21 players
