Huddlestone will never be good enough for England and is nowhere near mobile enough to be in AVB's plans. Stoke is a good move for him, he will do well.

QPR in talks to sign the Brazilian keeper Cesar. Will they ditch Green after just one game?

Watching the Liverpool-Hearts match, can't help but think Sterling will get a call up before the seasons out.

Still only 17. Rodgers has said he is not going out on loan so he must think Sterling is ready to play First Team. Hodgson has a lot of players to look at before he will look at Sterling. Raheem has to prove himself capable of coping with Prem football before England come knocking. Caps should be earned.

He looks a really good player, I think he'll do well in the Prem right from the off.

It can only be a positive for England to have Adam Johnson move to a club where he can start week in and week out.

That's for damn sure. There's a few like that, tbh.

Young McEachran went on loan to Middlesborough who are in the championship but if he plays every game, that's STILL better than being in the prem but not.

I also think he should be given a chance in the national squad.

QPR are supposed to have agreed to buy Julio Cesar from Inter. So Green is benched after 2 games. He only signed for the money after West Ham didnt boost his contract .

I'm sorry I didn't put a Muffer Rooney thread up somewhere weeks ago along the lines of "How Long Has He Got Left at United Now?"

Too late now of course.

while I admire the fact that he is always willing to turn up, the farther he is down the pecking order at QPR means that he is farther away from the England squad which hopefully means good things for the likes of Butland and Ruddy

Ruddy is giving some good performances from what I've seen which, admittedly, isn't a lot.

According to Fifa it missed. So that's two penalties saved in seven shootouts in 22 years. Ricardo saved three in 2006 in one shootout against England.
