I just don't trust these things until they're official but I'd like to have him. Many say that Spanish and Portuguese players always fail in Serie A but Fiorentina fans know that there is the occasional exception.
This piece says that, despite the rumors and the delays, Insua is coming. The deal between the clubs has been reached, Liverpool has already secured the services of Insua's replacement an there are but a few minor details to work out between our club and the player.
Looks to me like the deal fell through, the kid got greedy. Fiorentina really dropped the ball with this one, it's looking like we will start the season without bringing in a single defender.
With Gobbi gone we're sure to look hard for a LB to please Sinisa and have two players for every role.
