Also means a lot of support from the crowd. Unless you're Bayern in the CL, the home field advantage can be significant - just look at how well Germany did in '06 with a relatively unproven team. I think Brazil has a very decent shot of reaching the Semis, at least. And nobody cares about the Olympics.
I hope Italy don't make the WC As for brazil I think the home crowd will take them to the semis, but I think that's where the buck stops.. Their inexperience will show and they'll fold to a much better team.
They did win, yes...against...Andorra. He didn't start their best player, and the entire game was basically Andorra fielding a very limited group of players against a dutch side with plenty of individual skill but nothing else.
