Hey guys, excuse my English here, but what is being made of your chances of qualifying for the World Cup? I understand Uruguay and Argentina are expected to make it, and the Chileans look strong as well. What does the rest of the table look like, and do you expect to make it?

With our new manager it would be a failure if we didn't make it, we have a good team and manager and I fully expect us to make it.

Every team has a chance to make it expect Bolivia imo.

Good to hear. I would love it if both Colombia and Peru made it, but I have my doubts about the latter. I assume CONMEBOL will also have six teams this year since whoever finishes 6th should destroy whatever Asian team they end up playing.

6th place isn't going anywhere....It's 5th place who goes to the playoff and I wouldn't suggest to disrespect Asian teams. Yes the South American will be favorites almost for sure, but still, in Football anything can happen...

Once again we can see that the South American zone is the toughest in the world, when every team has an equal chance to qualify beside Bolivia. we cannot disrespect in teams like Peru, Ecuador & Venezuela anymore. This is gonna be a hell of qualifiers and I really really hope that we won't regret at the end that we lost so far 5 points out of 6 at home.

IF all our players play at their full potential we will not lose a single game except maybe against Uruguay.

You can say this about every team, it's not serious. Paraguay, Chile, Uruguay, Argentina, non of them are weak on paper from Colombia.

We probably will loose and tie a couple of times, this is CONMEBOL. Don't expect us to win every single game.

Overall though I think we'll do a good job.

I don't think that someone here is expecting to win everything, but we really F888ed ourselves with the games vs. Venezuela & Argentina. Now we need at least 4 points (maybe 3 will be good too) away vs. Peru (but it won't surprise me if we'll take only 1, 2 or non. by the way, 6 home matches remained for us, we MUST win at least 5 if not all of them.

Japan, Austrillia or South Korea can probably beat any South American team other than Brazil or Argentina at home. It would be a tough game in South America tho. Japan is a very impressive team with Honda, Naga and a bunch of other players. A 5th South American team? Depends who you think it's going to be will have more trouble than you think. I want Colombia to qualify directly as I don't want to play a playoff against anyone.
