It's definitely a whistle for the ignorant viewers but I do think that quite a few of the Reeps we see on TV (pundits & elected offials) agree with RMoney's 47% line so they dance around different ways of agreeing with it.

John Lennon's personal aide in his last few weeks of life, was interviewed last year, and said that he turned into a Reaganite in the last few months before he was killed. Isn't that ironic?

    Yes Alanis. Yes it is.

Plus, the personal aide's story about Lennon being a Reaganite was debunked immediately after he spouted it.

But would he masturbate with the tears of a Democrat as lubricant?

On second thought, this guy has to spend his time listening to Rush, Kiss, and Ted Nugent, so he's suffering enough.

Daily Intel is one few news sites where it's safe to read the comments. They're generally a funny, smart (and yes, liberal) bunch.

Context for one of the funny comments above:

You require a risky and complicated brain surgery, one that is performed by only two neurosurgeons in the country. One is a Republican and the other is a Democrat, but the Republican is generally unknown, and the Democrat was just heralded by Time Magazine as the nation's best neurosurgeon. Everything else — the cost, location, etc. — is the same. Which doctor do you choose?
Simple: Avoid them both. Go to Mexico for your medical treatment. Avoid all the red tape and bureaucracy.

    First of all,

you guys should send us "thank you" presents for inventing "Schadenfreude".

Otherwise you wouldnt have this great thread.

As a humbled people we did not ask for them when we invented Christmas, mp3 and the rocket propulsion. But enough is enough.

Mexican Brain Surgery is a great album name, but not a good band name. Don't ask me why - it just is.

At least one cut has to have the word "tequila" in the title, otherwise it doesn't work as well as it could.

The band name that comes to mind after reading that interview, however, is "Libertarian Lobotomy."

There are also a couple of Asians in the Romney HQ screenshot. But that's about it.

    Romney Shellshocked at Loss

Mitt Romney was "shellshocked" at losing the presidential race, an adviser tells CBS News.

"They thought intensity and enthusiasm were on their side this time -- poll after poll showed Republicans were more motivated to vote than Democrats - and that would translate into votes for Romney. As a result, they believed the public/media polls were skewed -- they thought those polls oversampled Democrats and didn't reflect Republican enthusiasm. They based their own internal polls on turnout levels more favorable to Romney. That was a grave miscalculation, as they would see on election night."

Said the adviser: "We went into the evening confident we had a good path to victory. I don't think there was one person who saw this coming."

Another staffer added: "There's nothing worse than when you think you're going to win, and you don't. It was like a sucker punch."

I like their new slogan. "Math you do as a Republican to make yourself feel better" is a lot more truthful than "fair and balanced."

"Log Cabin Lloyd" Marcus? He's the author of the Tea Party Anthem. Been mad ever since the music industry decided Luther Vandross and Freddie Jackson were all the androgyny they needed...

I don't have a TV, but I tell you, if I get one, it will be for Rachel Maddow.
