Clearly shows that China is one of the better teams in Asia. Once again Team China gets results when it doesn't matter...

Decent victory, kinda dull first-half despite the high tempo, second-half China actually started to look good especially Chen Tao's pass for Hao's second goal.

B/c those matches actually means something! They seriously need a sports psychologist or something to get the players over this hump. I don't know if they can beat Korea/Japan but they sure have the talent to qualify against Iraq/Jordan if they just play at the level they did today. But as we all know, when it really matters, Chinese players just all under perform. To me, its totally a problem in their head, need to get that fixed before they can do anything!

camacho just came in for those matches. i think he understand the squad more now as shown in this match.

but uh gao lin...he was killing me. he's only good when theres a fast winger who can feed him crosses like feng renliang or yu hai. i woulda had yu daobao or yangxu start over him last night.

Judging from how the game panned out, we may as well have played another MF like Yu Hai instead of a Gao Lin. He pretty much looked a bit lost out there because no one could feed him the ball.

I also did note that positioning needs to be something that the coaching staff will have to look at. Too many unnecessary offside calls (and we were undoubtedly miles offside). Could also be a culmination of match fitness though; lazy-looking offsides from players who had gone forward.

A knowledgeable sophisticated but more importantly positive and supportive media would go a long way in solving this so-called problem.

    CHINA RANKING WENT UP

As of March's ranking, ranked #68, sixth best in Asia.

Uzbekistan is above us now

Given how well the Uzbeks have played against us in the recent meetings, I guess that would be a fair ranking, but Cape Verde Islands? wtF? Above even Egypt and Cameroon :S
