I don't know if Gio is going or not but you can forget him going as a forward. He's going in the position Piojo wanted him to play. Maybe this is part of the act to pressure him to accept it but if he is going, he's not going as a forward. Those are Chicharito, Peralta, Jimenez and Pulido.

    4. Moreno
    5. Reyes
    6. Maza
    7. Topo
    8. Layun
    9. Aguilar
    10. Guardado
    11. Medina
    12. Vasquez
    13. Pena

People missing from Piojo recent call ups: Giovani, Ochoa, Aquino, Ponce, Topo, Perez, Moi, Pizarro.

What to learn if true....Piojo sucks.

Unless... pulido doesn't renew his contract with tigres, which means he is out.

I can imagine tigres offering him a $1 to renew, because "he is supposed to do anything to play the world cup."

Hopefully Piojo is causing drama on purpose to sell magazines and for ratings on the tele.

If you think about it, in the last 10 years, there have been 4 championships worth mentioning (youth and full) for Mexican football. 2005 u17, 2011 u17, 2011 Gold Cup, and 2012 Olympics. Besides the 2011 U17 which he was not eligible for :D, there is one key name that is common in those tournaments.......Giovani Dos Santos.

Piojo said in that ESPN interview that he is looking at Gio as a forward because that is the position Gio likes to play. Maybe that is his excuse not to take him since he already has Pulido, Oribe,Jimenez and Chicharo and only taking 4 for that position.

I wish he would just release the list already. Next two weeks are going to be brutal with all the discussion as to whether or not he is taking Gio. Tired of the spazzing(although I'm guilty of it as well). Just can't imagine this world cup without Gio and Vela.

Gio as forward > Pulido & Jimenez as forwards

Only (in form) Peralta & (in form) Chich plays better at that position than Gio.

It would be a crime if Gio gets left out of the final 23.
