I don't feel sorry for a person that makes millions of dollars playing a sport, he obviously had what it took to play in Europe. He f-ed up and deserves to come back to mexico.

If there's anything Mier has in abundance it's agility and quickness. His best games for the Olympic NT have come when he's been given liberty to bring the ball up on the right flank and attack.

It's his decision making that's held him back and made people think twice about him as a CB.

As far as Efra goes, he's shit out of luck I guess since Lennon doesn't plan on using him for the second half of the season and his options will be severely limited meaning he will have to return to Mexico or drop down a division in Spain.

No way he has the agility and quickness. Just because he has huge brainfarts at CB does not mean that he'll work out at RB. At leas not at the international level.

Did you even watch him at Copa America? If he showed anything, it was his ability to recover due to his speed. His decision making was sub par through out the tournament but his 1v1 defending showcased his agility and was one of his strong points.

If anything, it's these very same traits that would make him a good RB.

I'm not sure how you can claim with such certainty that he would not "work out at the international level as a RB" when he's one of the most athletic players we have for his age group.

I highly recommend you watch him more closely.

I'm not doubting that he's athletic for a CB. And I was pretty impressed in some of his play in Copa America (which came as CB). However, RB is a totally different animal. Just because he did a good job taking the ball from some South Americans in closed spaces doesn't mean he'll do well against them when they have a lot more space.

meh, not the most exciting players to follow abroad. But I guess we have to take what we can get since we have nobody like Aguero, Messi, or Neymar to be following.

you're kidding right??? he's no longer with the team, they got a non-EU player over the winter break and had to free up a spot. Juarez got taken off the roster to make room for the player.

Read somewhere that if Juarez doesn't find a team and Celtic has to take him back then Celtic is gonna tax Zaragoza for breaking the loan deal.

He had his moments, he played well one week shit the next. He was too inconsistent. But to say his whole time there was poor is false.

i remember Efra was tearing it up his first couple of months at Celta. then he went to shit.

hopefully he gets taken into consideration for what's left of the season and plays well. i'd like to see him play as a RB again. he's had better games playing RB than DM.
