he's goes up front too much, and leaves his position. he is still a young blood, and needs to learn a lot. not NT material right now.

Of course he's not NT material; he lacks experience. Hence why he needs friendlies to learn and grow with the national team.

i missed the part when he got the second yellow but according to the commentators, that the yellow was un called for. I think he's a beast, but i do agree with @pepinointer franco and murillo are a lot more ahead int he game.

Yeah, it wasn't even a foul.. he shouldn't have gotten a red. The last time he got a red, the ref had also made a mistake when giving him the second yellow.

So yes, he does appear to have a lot of reds for his short career, but they weren't actually merited..

Los defensas seguiran siendo los mismos. Yepes, Perea, Zapata, Valdez y Mosquera.

Yepeto, Valdes, C.Zapata, Aquivaldo "maldini" Perea y Edwin Valencia

if he continues to play like shit for River then none. But Perea has played like shit for the NT since 2006 and still gets a call up so who knows !!

    1. Yepes
    2. Zapata
    3. Perea
    4. Valdez/Medina
    5. Balanta

I don't see much room for him. If he doesn't get any minutes this game I would really doubt him getting called unless Zapata or Perea get injured b4 the WC

He's not playing like shit for River. An undeserved red card does not equal a bad moment. He might not be shining like he did when he first debuted, but he is still playing good and shows his great qualities week-in and week-out.

You're making it seem like he's pulling a Nelson Rivas, who played the first 4 games with River good and then was an absolute disaster.

Yet he's a crucial player for Nacional enough to be playing in big games and eventually winning titles nonstop.
