News: Daniel Viteri fué llamado a la selección

Hey I'm not annoyed at all,in fact I respect that.Thats the way WE should be thinking,,,after Suarez gets the boot.
The vinotinto has gotten my dues a while ago they have proper ballers and play decent ball,,like I said before we will BARELY beat them in Quito.
If anything the ones who need to come back to earth are US,that hunger and humildad is not there no more we need to get that back.

I agree with the post above me... Venezuela are a good team now... they have developed the skill they need to actually win games... They aren't heavyweights, but they can inflict damage when they play collectively...

Lets not forget it was the same for us some years back when we improved... we need to humble down now.. because as of late the results have not been that much in our favor... Let Venezuela have their fun.. they deserve it for improving..but they should know that they are still a long way from striking fear in another team.. they should really prepare for when they play us.

Well, here's a rare moment; I actually agree with most of what yoryi says. I have much respect for the Venezuelan team, they've been getting progressively better. In the last 3 eliminatorias, they've placed last, second to last, and then third to last. They're no longer the joke of South America and that's great for conmebol -- it makes it more competitive. We don't want a concacaf-type conferderation where we play teams like St. Kitts, do we?

I dont think Venezuela is that good..
there a soild team but are nothing special
If we don't beat them at home I think it would be embarrassing.. thats how i feel.....
i will even say that they are the weakest team playing at home in Maracaibo.. reason: Bolivia is probably the worst team at the moment in sudamerica... if you look at them playing in la Paz there's a lot of teams (exception of Ecuador) who don't want to play Bolivia in la Paz(afraid of la altura.) therefore, i bet if there's still a team you know you can take the full 3 points away from them en su casa i will argue that its still Venezuela they are the weakest link of S.A.

I will be intrested in seeing what people think

Re: Ecuador vs Venezuela -eliminatorias WC10

I agree with Preyes10 those are 6 points at home and away that we can not afford to loose Venezuela has improved but they are the weakest along with Bolivia in SA. About the game I want the mid fielders to step up and help on the defensive side since our wing players are so slow i have a feeling the Venezualians are going to play back and wait for Ecuador to attack and then try to counter with there speedy fowards. Ecuador has to play collective eapecialy in the mid field we can not loose the ball like Urrutia and Ayovi seem to do every game I see them play. Hurtado is Older and needs help defensivly If venezuela scores it will be from a tiro libre or a shot from outde the 18.

    Vamos Ecuador

BAD news guys el portero Klimowicz is hurt and will not start against Venezuela nor will he play against Brazil. Viteri will start both games in Goal and Mora has been called to back him up.
