it's over after they scored that 3-1. that's a complete motivation killer. this is gonna be a massacre of goals and it's gonna affect Ecuador when they try to make it to the next round.

Not a fair result, we were outplaying Germany. A few bad bounces and a couple of defensive mistakes really was the difference.

Ecuador needs to score at least one more goal to minimize this awful goal margin. They played great for about 60 minutes, but the defense melted down epicly.

    6-1

Lol at the announcer; "Dreadful dreadful celebrations. Dance lessons needed!!!"

What a melt down. Ecuador played so well from the opening minute until the 3rd goal.

complete embarassment. Im done watching Ecuador unless they make it to the next round. There's only a handful of interesting players to watch for and all of them are midfielders/forwards. That defense is garbage. But IMO, we've been eliminated already.

6-1....they are literally having their way with us. Their efficency in passing and their speed is just damn impressive. Cheers to Germany.

And that last goal...OH MY GOD!

The important thing is for the team to look at the tape and cut the crap...they got games against Panama and Burkina Faso up next....winnable games if they can keep focus. They cannot let their hands down. No more HUEVADAS!

I'm confident that Rueda won't last long enough to call these kids up haha.

BUT...the maturity levels and confidence of the two teams was apparent for all to see.

How sad was that game. They were playing well the 1st half. After the 2nd goal they gave up. They were 1-1. The defense seemed to not care after the second goal. The score ended 6-1. Not happy at all.

Damn it seemed like they just gave up! No heart at all after the 2nd goal. They put too much into the 1st half that in the 2nd they seemed tired and unorganized. They need to regroup and play smart.

saw the first half and thought they did well ,But as is customary in our national teams they lacked the finishing touches otherwise it would be a different game. unfortunately, I had to run errands and did'nt see 2nd half, so it was quite a shock to see the final score 6-1.I was like " how did they manage to F up that badly"?,and again our defense is sorely lacking.. I hope that they can regroup ,because as I watch Panama vs Burkina Faso ,I think Ecuador is a better team than these two.

Ecuador was playing really well the 1st half. They were playing better than Germany but they seemed to give up once the 2nd goal came in after Ecuador tied it. Yes, Germany is better but not 6-1 better. Ecuador youngsters gave up big time.

I hope for the next game we play harder cuz this is not at all how we played in the sudamericano. That LB Ramirez this kid needs to be benched he was all over the place and caught out of position constantly he needs to learn to run back and defend. The CB Canga I think is his name was really bad as well who decided to put him as defender is beyond me. It looked like there was such a huge let down after the 2-1 they just gave up completely but thats you expect at this level the kids aren't mentally strong yet.

Re: Sub 17 World Cup - Mexico 2011

the way i see it, had Ecuador scored first. They would have controlled the game in a much organized manner. Ecuador played well til around the 60th minute. AFter they tied the game and Germany scored like 4 minutes later, it affected them. They're not mentally prepared to play at this level. That's all it is. There's no way a team can dominate 60 minutes of a game and receive 5 goals in 30 minutes. Not mentally prepared.

I doubt that. This is nothing but pure speculation. In the end, Ecuador tied the match...they should have scored the 2-1 before the German team did but they didn't. Then, they mentally collapsed.
