What is the roster going to the tournament and who are the players expected to shine in the tournament?

    Edit I found it

    Goalkeepers

    1 Walter CHAVEZ
    12 Darwin CUERO
    21 Israel GUTIERREZ

    Defenders

    2 Jordan JAIME
    3 Marlon MEJIA
    4 Ridder ALCIVAR
    5 Luis CANGA
    6 Cristian RAMIREZ
    18 Gabriel CORTEZ
    19 Jhon MENDOZA

    Midfielders

    8 Jonny UCHUARI
    10 Junior SORNOZA
    14 Eddy COROZO
    15 Jose CEVALLOS
    16 Kevin BARZOLA

    Forwards

    7 Kevin MERCADO
    9 Luis BATIOJA
    11 Esteban TROYA
    13 Carlos GRUEZO
    17 Joel VALENCIA
    20 Dennys HURTADO

I'm excited to see how Jose Cevallos plays in the tournament. He impressed me when I saw him play for Liga.

Joel Valencia, Luis Batioja, Richard Mercado, Junior Sornoza, and my favorite Jose Francisco Cevallos JR. are all to keep an eye on. Little Cevallos is simply a crack.

1-0 Germany. Bad clearance from a corner kick resulted in the goal.

Re: Sub 17 World Cup - Mexico 2011

WOW! I'm impressed. But im disappointed b/c the scoreboard doesn't reflect how well we played this whole first half against Germany. I was unsure about the U-17 squad b/c it displayed lots of weaknesses in the U-17 Qualifiers. But they're playing great. Uchuari and Sornoza rocked the first half. Sucks we haven't scored, we seriously deserved a goal and not only that but we should be winning. That kid Jordan Jaime is a nerve wreck.

For those who want to know, Germany is winning 1-0 first half.

Batioja had a good chance in the first half. After the goal Ecuador started to play reserved and then Germany started to turn it up. I think we can manage a draw atleat.

that result is bullsh*t. I can't believe it. But this game is EXACTLY how the our older squad would have looked like in the World Cup. Horrible defense screwing up in the few opportunities the opponents create and missing a trillion shots on goal. That's what would have happened if Ecuador made it to South Africa.

a logical move to hire Ivan Hurtado as a coach for the sub 17...
