With these forwards coming out of Ecuador. Ecuador will not be anything important in soccer anytime soon. Wow are they terrible.

If we don't win Ecuador will finish at the same place as Guatemala... How freaking sad is that!

yep, these forwards have one good game and 4 bad ones.if we had one quality forward this game would have been over for frenchies instead they score on a lonely play.

It doesn't matter... Montaño and De Jesus are freaking terrible! We had so many chances but they can't score for sh!t. We should be winning 2 or more.

Oh well , better luck next time. Ecuador really has a problem with developing fowards who can finish off the plays. Off topic, anyone know the score between Ecuador and Costa Rica?

Ecuador played better than France... They had double the amount of shots on goal than France. De La Torre an Cazares have bright futures... and Caicedo should be going to Europe..

I want to die after watching this game. It's INSANE how we had like 20 shots on goal and couldn't net one. JUST ONE!!!! dammit!!! WHYYYY!!!????

I don't think watching ecuador play anymore is healthy for me. It's gonna kill me. This team is beyond superior to France. Superior is not even the word to describe it. I ask myself how the f*ck a team that sh*tty like France is in Quarter Finals of a World Cup!? Justice does not exist in futbol. Straight bull.

I'll leave with one positive note- that line of four we have in this U-20 MUST be transfer to our major squad. Each and every single one of those four guys.

Caicedo is too friggin greedy. I could have choked him tonite. Montaño friggin sucks. Poor Vizuete. If he had one good forward he would have beaten france today. Must be fustrating as hell!!!!

There's just no other explanation...this team does not know how to score goals. It's a problem that is both individual and collective.

I'm beginning to think that Vizuete - as great as he is at making competitive teams - is somehow at fault. This team is very similar to the senior team when he took over...lots of chances, beautiful play, but NO goals!!

It's more frustrating than having a team that flat out sucks. These guys get you excited, because we were making France our bitches for most of the game. But after we missed 1, 2, 3.....10 good chances to score, I knew they were going to get a lucky goal (their goal was OFFSIDES).

Well, if this was our senior team eliminated in the 2nd round of the World Cup, I'd be pretty proud. Too bad this team had the potential to do more, and wasted it.

I could see it happening from a mile away their forwards were offside practically all game.

Anyways, should there be a rule giving our young forwards a chance before we give it to an extranjero?

This team had me a bit excited with how they were playing, but the only thing that matters is scoring; something Ecuador obviously cannot do. Oh well! Let us maintain our proud tradition of losing!
