... is next week, running from June 5th - 7th. http://www.e3expo.com/ I super psyched to see some of the already expected games shown in more detail, see for the first time some games that have been teased, and see whether or not some rumored games are true: - Assassin's Creed III - Gears of War 4 - Halo 4 - Star Wars 1313 - Dead Space 3 - Dishonored
Watch MS's briefing, was sorely disappointed. Other than Halo 4, Splinter Cell, South Park and the teaser for the new Gears series nothing impressed me.
You mean Usher being a part of Dance Central 3 didn't do it for ya? The Smart Glass application intrigued me. http://majornelson.com/2012/06/04/xbox-makes-entertainment-more-amazing-on-phone-pc-tablet-and-tv/ http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/...ss-tethers-your-smart-device-to-your-360.aspx
Saw a great tweet about Usher, "I wish an usher would usher usher off the stage" Smart Glass is Microsofts version of Apple's Air Play, but a little more in depth. Personally, I hate IE, so seeing it on my tv is not something I'm looking forward to. Why use my phone or iPad to control the web. I'll just use the iPad to browse the web.
They're touting Smart Glass as much more than that, however. Both gameplay demos of AC3 have me drooling. Oh, and Watch Dogs looks amazing, as does Splinter Cell: BlackList. Still eagerly waiting to see anything on Star Wars 1313.
The first installment of Medal of Honor was mediocre; SP campaign was better than the MP portion, but neither could be considered great. The new game, MoH Warfighter (using the Frostbite 2 engine) has an intriguing take on multiplayer this go around ... it's us-versus-us (blue-versus-blue) where you play as specific global Tier 1 groups fighting against each other, instead of fighting against some terrorist organization or the like: SASR (Australia) JFT2 (Japan) KSK (Germany) FSK (Norway) HJK (Norway) GROM (Poland) Spetsnaz (Russia) UDT/SEALs (South Korea) SOG (Sweden) SAS (UK) SEALs (USA) SFOD-D, aka Delta Force (USA) OGA (USA)
The Smart Glass seemed like a stop gap measure until the next system is released where it will be standard. Love that it's open source and I won't have to worry bout the next system being released with a controller similar to the WiiU. Wow at how poor Nintendo's press conference was yesterday. For a company releasing new Hardware it was a really low key off the mark presentation. I mean I thought both Microsoft and Sony's pressers were uneventful except for a few games but Nintendo's was just bad. I wonder if the fact that they are being televised now hurts the pressers than helps? All of them really felt rushed and seemed like the big news always came in the post press conference interviews. I'm still catching up on all the games but loved what I've seen for of. Except that everything is getting a Feb. release date. I'm sorry but if Sim City is coming out that month best delay those games again, developers. Gears:Judgement class based mp mode could be huge
