Can't you get enough smug satisfaction from knowing you use a "cooler computer"? :D

No, I think those commercials are ridiculous. Funny but ridiculous.

the new interface is nice, but i i wish they put their efforts and resources towards actually improving the quality of the highlights [video and audio quality] rather than just perform plastic surgery on the interface.

i don't have any real problems. rather, iw as just saying that if they were going to 'improve' the service, they should have improved the video and audio quality rather than just the presentation of the content. my video is okay, but i feel like there's always room for improvement to make it sharper. as for audio, i think it's horribly low in a lot of the video segments such as game highlights and Rafa press interviews. also, for game highlights, i would really appreciate a clock display so i know what parts of the game various incidents have occured in.

    E-Season ticket.. worth it?

Sorry if this has been discussed before, I'm sure it has. But I've been itching to watch the pre-season friendlies and beyond this season, and was considering forking out the $7 a month or whatever it is for the E-season ticket service they have on the main club website.

So, is anyone here subscribed? Should I bother with it?

I've been a subscriber for quite a while now and definitely recommend it. I think it's worth it for the reserve games alone, but the preseason coverage so far has been great and the replays of EPL matches during the season come in handy. Also, the new console for EST is much nicer than any of the truly horrible previous incarnations they've had.

I like it because you can watch a bunch of stuff on the History of LFC as well. Good compilations and such.

    Definitely worth the purchase.

Match highlights, analysis, pre-game, post-game, news, training, history, etc.

My connection's decent but everything loads slow as shit on the E-Season ticket. Slow to the point of not being worth it at all. Incredibly frustrating.

    Yet I subscribe every pre-season...

    It works good for me.

The live games this pre-season have been pretty good. One or two rough patches, but it buffers and loads quickly.

I have had very few problems with the other content. Which is a problem, because if I get started watching old match highlights then I end up spending 2-3 hours of my day getting nothing done.

    Showoff. ;)

I mostly watch at my office computer, which is a Mac G5 w/ dual 2.5Ghz processor, though I'm not sure what our connection is. FWIW, last year I had fewer problems with lagging until the last few games.

This year it's been incredibly tedious. Everything on the E-Season Ticket has loaded painfully slow, even the archived content.

Might help not being on the West Coast though. Lots of Flyoverland to go through. ;)

Let's just say that E-Season ticket is less frustrating that Setanta-i...at least for me.
