I recieved an email today giving me a three day free trial. I've never thought much about buying one, but I'll have to say there's some pretty amazing stuff in there. Anyone here have it and recommend it??
I have it and love it. Because I have Fox Sports World and a bar that will show the games only on Setanta I don't use it as often as I can, it's still nice to know that, when the game isn't televised, I can always hear it on LFC.TV. And their features are good, too.
I always had problems with the 30 pounds a year or whatever, (especially looking at my PPV expenditures), then my girlfriend bought a year for me for Xmas. Now I'm hooked. Damn her. Just like a coke dealer. There was a (Worthington?) cup match televised live earlier this year - if I can see more of that from European and Cup competitions, it will be a much better investment. They keep upping the bar, too. In the last month or so they've started putting higlights of all the reserves matches up, so there's hope for a lot of future growth. Even as is, I'll still have serious withdrawl issues if I can't scrape together another 50 bucks next year . . .
Agreed with all above. I had reservations about the money up front or even monthly, but when factoring in transit to pubs in the city vs. audio vs. games that aren't even televised, the investment is worth it. For me, I've devised a simple strategy - pay to watch at pubs only the games that are crucial to my well being. I could deal with the Sheffield United semi-final with audio, but there's no way I can cope with just listening to the final. Need to pay to see that live. As long as I'm not penniless next year, I'll re-subscribe. Great investment.
E-Season ticket I have it, and love it, as well. I have the five bucks or so taken off the credit card each month, and don't notice it. Highly recommended. ----
E-season ticket How do i cancel my e-season ticket? I cant find a link on the Liverpoolfc.tv homepage. Id like to keep but i just cant find the time to watch the games as much as i would like to, any help would be appreciated, thanks.
I think you can do it by (this is from memory)... going to liverpoolfc.tv clicking the 'free preview' option under the 'e-season ticket' bar on the top left of the page. select the 'Help' option under the 'Function' menu and look for 'Delete e-season account' If not just post a message on the Offal Message Board and someone will be able to help you properly.
"Enhanced Commentary" e-season ticket service no more Received the following from lfc.tv this morning: "We would also like to clarify the subject of Enhanced Commentary. For the last three seasons we have been able to offer an enhanced commentary (one frame of video per second) service. Unfortunately, this season's FA Premier League broadcast rights have been amended to prevent us from providing this service. We are very disappointed about this but unfortunately must abide by the broadcasting rules." Very disappointed. The slide show coverage was pretty useful.
Re: "Enhanced Commentary" e-season ticket service no more Thanks, FA. Take away my "one-frame-a-second-who-the-hell-would-pay-for-THIS-when-they-could-pay-less-to-watch-it-on-Sky" coverage, while still not giving away/selling TV rights to a normal carrier in the US. (i.e. one that is not being boycotted by 2/3 of the cable systems in the US.) So if I want to watch one second of English football this year, I would have to get a satellite dish (which my apartment complex won't let me install), or run a piece of coax from ********ing Kentucky to my TV so I can break through the Comcast monopoly. Blow me.
Re: "Enhanced Commentary" e-season ticket service no more My thoughts exactly. Are you sure that there is no ex-pat pub nearby?
Re: "Enhanced Commentary" e-season ticket service no more I'm still looking. Closest I can find is upwards of an hour away. If there's one near here, they don't get the word out very well. Seriously, I hate when I get wound up about Comcast. . . what a bunch of ass lickers. Yeah, OLN is really a direct competitor with FSW. I see a lot of hiking, archery, and cycling shows on the latter and football, rugby, and cricket on the former. ********ing tossers. Just because you don't like Rupert Murdoch (and refuse to be honest about it) doesn't mean you should keep 2/3 of his channels off the air.
Re: "Enhanced Commentary" e-season ticket service no more Keep the faith --- email them every week. They finally gave us the package here at Comcast Virginia but you have to take the digital service and you have to learn about it through word of mouth since they don't advertise it.
Re: "Enhanced Commentary" e-season ticket service no more My closest Footy pub is a good 90 min. shiity drive away. Alright for specials but not every match. http://www.georgeanddragonpub.com/
E-season Ticket So, I was digging around the E-Season Ticket looking for highlights from last night (before remembering it was Carling Cup), and found the full Arsenal match available. Now, it'll only stream (you can't DL it to the hard drive), but it raised a couple questions. a) I thought this was illegal (or at least, that was their justification for why they could show no more than 15 minutes of highlights per match). Is anyone familiar with the applicable laws, and if there was a recent change? b) If it's not illegal, why in the world don't they do this every week?
Re: E-season Ticket Why can't they show highlights of the Carling Cup match? Steve Hunter said during the commentary that they would have extensive highlights of the match, but they are not up there today.
Question about e-ticket and UEFA action pass! I've heard that UEFA's live action pass is nice because you can see almost any game you want to. But I was just looking on their website, and it looks like they only have audio coverage for the Liverpool game! Same with the E-ticket from Liverpools site! I was just wondering ....for anyone who has either...are they worth getting, and how many live matches do they show?
Re: Question about e-ticket and UEFA action pass! They rarely show live matches on the E-Season Ticket, but alomost always live audio commentary. I dunno about the UEFA ActionPass.
Re: Question about e-ticket and UEFA action pass! The UEFA action pass has live commentary for all the games, and then complete video replays afterward. No live video. I have it and enjoy the audio portion, and I like going back and watching the highlights.
Re: Question about e-ticket and UEFA action pass! Thanks for the quick replies....I think I might get that UEFA pass so I can listen to the Liverpool game pretty soon!
Re: Question about e-ticket and UEFA action pass! I'd recommend the E-Season ticket if you want more Liverpool intensive content. Tons and tons and tons of archival footage.
Re: Question about e-ticket and UEFA action pass! yea...I'll probably get that e-ticket for the start of next year!
Re: Question about e-ticket and UEFA action pass! I think you can buy a "gift subscription" for someone for any number of months. Buy a 2 or 3 month gift for "a friend", then just use the code yourself. Much better to go through LFC anyway. Not only for all the archived stuff and EPL/Reserves match highlights, (and live audio of all our EPL matches, yada yada), but I'd rather my 40 pounds go to the club than the damn UEFA bureaucrats.
