I didn't know there was going to be a building there. I thought it was going to be a parking lot.

It looked like it could have been underground.

I find the "Back of the House" lingo interesting.

That is a restuaranting term referring to the kitchen and other areas that customers don't go. Everywhere customers go is consider "Front of the House."

Music venue industry adopted the same lingo. Back of the House is backstage.

It does say a little something that the Dynamo are using that language. It shows how much the culture of the Dynamo FO and the new stadium is driven by AEG and their music culture -- and not by sports/stadium culture which does not use that lingo so much.

I don't intend any of the above as a bitch. An observation only without judgement. I don't care what they call it.

They can call it Peewee's Playhouse and the stadium can hold 1400 concerts a week, and I'll still be happy as long as the Dynamo play there 20+ times a year.

Blue Moon Beer is made by Coors and will be no problem at all, if they can't get it they are not trying.

I do think it is funny that people are clamoring for better beer selection and the first one mentioned is Blue Moon. I think people should be clamoring for some actual Texas beer, get a contract with St. Arnolds, Shiner and Real. Hell, toss in Lone Star and have the Texas beer stand. I am happy to pay the 10 bucks it costs at Astro games for the huge (22 ounce I think) cup of St. Arnolds.

Your right. It shows just how pathetic the beer selection at Robertson is now.

I could be wrong-and some correct me if that is the case-but they might have their hands tied with a league agreement with AB. Hence the reason why your choices are Bud Light, Bud Lime and that Bud Bock thing.

Doesnt stop others from having better selection. Besides, the AB exclusivity is done, hence Corona being a sponsor now

Shiner is the most overrated beer in Texas. Not sure what the infatuation is with it.

St. Arnolds would be fine with me, like their stuff and it is local.

Then why is the beer selection at PHP, Weld-Jen, Sporting Park, all so much better? Over a dozen pours to choose among. At Sporting you can get Guinness on draught, as well as three other British Isle imports. Plus Blue Moon. And several others. At Jeld-Wen Widmer Brothers beers were around, plus a special beer concession stand with, it looked like, two-dozen various premium brand beers. Even PHP has Shock-Top, and a dozen other premium brands from Mexico, Europe, and the States.

They are shut off for Dynamo games. They are available only for UH events.

It is a bit galling isn't it.

that sounds more plausible-I remember having a conversation with a guy from Silver Eagle, taking about the Dynamo.

You saw last night 64,140 fans show up at Seattle. I am jealous..I wish we can do that for our team at the Reliant Stadium , like Brad or Ching when they retire...

Better beer is a highly desirable thing. But at least the new stadium is already next to bars where you can get good beer (or wine) before or after the game. That works fine for me. One of the advantages of the new location is hanging out in the area before and after games.

Only bad thing most people don't know who Ching or Davis is.

I tell people I'm a Dynamo fan and they aske where's that college at. I tell them its MLS and they say I heard a few things like that. I ask them to name a player and they say Beckham and ask why Donovan isn't playing overseas....
