I feel the same as you Cosmo. I am excited about this signing, but I am not ready to put all my lot in with Garcia. I guess I will have to see him play. I want nothing more than for him to light up the MLS defenses this year!!!!!!

Actually, we have 3 GenAd players: Cruz, Garcia, Kamara.



Room for 1 more GenAd player before we're maxed out, though I doubt we get one.

Now we still need the veteran striker to pair with Ching.....

 

Hasn't Kamara's GenAd status expired? He was in the same class as Ianni.

Nope. The arbitrary line between "a lot" of minutes for MLS and not hasn't been crossed, nor has his 4 year contract expired.

If you heard Glenn last night, Dom talked about Ngwenya, he sounded sort of cryptic but he said Joe was having troubles with his team in Turkey, but he couldn't say more, and they were talking but he couldn't say more, there was lots of stuff he couldn't talk about, but it sounded sorta interesting.

 

The Dom said he kept track of Ngwenya because he liked him. and it seems that once The Dom puts his eye on a player he'll keep on him 'til he gets him. That's how they got the Goalie Hall who the Dom says he'd been looking at for awhile, and the same agent that has Hall has Ngwenya........hmmm.

 

If Garcia is loaned out I will be mad. We need at least 4 decent strikers right now we have Ching and Kamara.

We still need at least one more.

 

I hear there making an announcement tomorrow about the signing of another forward, besides FG. Ngwenya? Couldn't get conformation or denial.

I for one will be ecstatic if we get Joseph Jgwenya back. Dude stretches defenses and draws defenders.

 

Ngwenya is good...I think we can get someone better though with the salary we should still have and the allocation money (assuming we have some leftover after acquiring Garcia).

I thought tomorrow's announcement was supposed to be just FG, but how would I really know that? I'm in East Bernard, and I've had the flu....

 

My source in the FO said the Dynamo would announce tomorrow "the new kid Felix AND 1 more forward". *fingers crossed* we'll see.

Interesting...although I'm inclined to think that if it was a big name forward signing, it would have leaked by now much like the Felix signing did.

a party is being organized for tomorrow 5:30 to 7:30 place is not yet defined, I'm sure it will be announced earlier tomorrow, I don't remember what the party is for I think players presentation, but my english ear is bad and hearing it from a voicemail makes it worst.

lady told me she wants all EB there, so I'm gonna post it on EB's forum tomorrow Wheels.

 

I would not mind seeing him loaned out to a USL-1 team where he can get a ton of playing time.

I'm concerned it is just not realistic to think an 18-yo raw talent that is light on structured team soccer experience can reasonably play much in MLS. The kid needs to play. Further, there is no reserve team matches for the guy to get playing time in.

He will be off to US U-20 camp in February, so perhaps Rongen can get some good work in on him.

 

I think the fact that there is no more reserve league, and that the rosters have been cut from 28 to 24 pretty much guarantees him at least one game in both the Open cup and the '09-'10 CCL. I'd be shocked if he's loaned out after making moves to get him...for this season anyways.
