You need to be fast to play in the EPL..... he won't work there. Italy is the best place for him if Napoli is pacient tho they over paid for him that can come and bite him in the ass. He is slightly better/more experienced version of that Cordoba kid from Esponyol. Think if Duvan and Brayn Perea are loaned out next season with regulation zone teams they will be bosses. Napoli and Lazio are just too big of a clubs for these 2 at the moment. Just like Luis Muriel needed that 1 season at Lecce to show his potential. These two guys getting 10 minutes max every 3-4 games won't help them develop even tho they are training and learning from guys like Klose and Higuian
Zapata is doing decent, but he's young and not experienced like some other players. Give him time and he'll bloom.

Good call. Part of me is like there is no way he meant to do that clever pass with his back. But if you look at the replay he does look up and just seems to let it subtlety hit off his back. It was either pure luck or pure genius. Not matter what the case may be he continued on and positioned himself for the really nice goal he scored.
He seems to position himself very, very well. With a little more luck and timing he can be one of the best goal scorers in this league in the future.
dude is just super slow. I don't know if its him not adapting yet but for a guy his size he just a slow poke.
He does not have to be fast as long as he positions himself on the field correctly and has a knack of being in the right place at the right time. He is such a huge target the ball will get to him somehow.
So far Duván has played well. He is playing his Target forward role very well in fact. One of his headers in the box even led to a Callejón goal.
Of course there is hope, he just need more time to adapt to Italy. Napoli has a great squad and regardless of having world class scorers ahead of him, he still has played and score. I feel like they see Duvan more like a developing project because they seem to give him the chance to play when they can.
Zapata's 2nd half was not as good as the first. Had a break away and tried to be too cute and cut back. The Defender took it away from him easily. Pandev now on for him.
