He looked really slow today the 10 mins he played. He's not adapting well as others have stated. It was really good for him that he scored that golazo, it will buy him time.

If he looked slow today, he'll look slow every other game too. Pace isn't his best quality. You can't judge a player if he plays only for a few minutes.
Last game he scored a fantastic goal and today he played only ten minutes. It's impossible to say how he is adapting so far.
against genoa he played 58 minutes and agisnt torino 20........perea is playing better for example.................italy is a very difficult league for newbies, not is a big problem......
^^^this Duvan is still very young. Napoli spent a good penny for him. He's around other 'paisanos'. It's not like he started red hot for Estudiantes. He missed the summer pretraining and didnt get to with the other players and the new DT. He's got time to grow.
http://www.antena2.com.co/audios/planeta-futbol/duvan-zapata-y-su-rapida-adaptacion-al-napole-59 apparently the adaptation is not an issue also he mentions how Napoli and Estudiantes play the same style
There are rumours saying he might go to Udinese. Makes sense, all colombians must play in Udinese for them to reach their full potential.
I forgot about Muriel completely. It would be very nice to see them playing together. Di Natale could teach him a lot, just like he taught Muriel. Di Natale seems like a guy who likes to help the youngsters adapt.
But porto worry about sporttive pryect,,,,,,,udinese love to sell their players when qualify to UCL And in the cases of Aguilar and Cuadrado, only helped them to arrive to europe....
He does, but he's retiring after this season. That may actually be the reason why they are interested in Zapata, to add depth up front.
True. Porto actually develops and uses our players for club success, Udinese just uses them as a farm project to sell. I mean that they are the Italian Porto in that they keep a close eye on Colombian talent and provide a platform to Europe.
Clumsy and slow seems to be a good way to describe him. But he positions himself pretty well and is such a big target for offensive teammates that he will get his chances. Hope he gets more playing time in the Serie A but I doubt it.
