Re-reading the articles, it looks like a big factor for the move to West Carrollton was access. It already looks easier to get there, and supposedly a new off-ramp from I-75 already in the works will make it even easier.

It is a much better location than Bellbrook. The new ramp will make it even easier you'll get off the ramp and the stadium is practically right there. You can see the high school from the highway. It is not that far from the Dayton Mall and other main shopping areas. Honestly you can't miss it.

With Bellbrook, at least the way I went, I would get off the exit and drive past some shopping and restaurants. Then I would drive about a mile or so through some residential areas before turning on the road for the high school. The school is in the middle of nowhere. While it sticks out like a sore thumb it just wasn't a good location. I was never fond of it.

I'm well aware of how nasty Bellbrook is location-wise. I researched the area for a road trip last year I ended up not taking.

This year, I've been involved in politicking for some scheduling.

The location at West Carrolton will definitely be better. I am worried about the field and stadium however, not quite sure how "updated" it is. I do remember the Lions saying something about renovating it but I have yet to see any equipment over there or hear anything about it. But in terms or locale for greater Dayton, it is essentially a win for all of the southern suburbs and 5-10 min away from downtown. Not drawing north Dayton doesn't hurt them all that much as its not really the demographic for soccer.

And if they will ever drop the "dutch" from their name and rebrand to represent dayton I could see them doing quite well.

Dayton have announced that if you buy season tickets before February 1st you get a free game day jersey. In addition to 12 home game tickets for the Mens team the season ticket package also includes 6 home games for the W-league team.

Ticket prices have gone up I think I paid about $90 last year and season tickets are $100 this year. I believe individual prices went up $1 for adult tickets from $11 to $12

Another loss for Dayton (after Joe Tait) as George Davis IV signs for the LA Blues. Even when Dayton were in the PDL Davis was a threat. Without him last season Dayton would have struggled even more than they did. Great player.

Tait was released by Philly, so maybe you can get him back.

Even though Dayton did not do well last season I am still excited for the new season to start. They've made some improvements getting a new website layout and introducing a tv series which is pretty decent. Watching the series the coaches and players keep talking about good personalities in the team. Makes me wonder if that was an issue last season?

A lot of new faces in the squad!! More new players than I expected its a new team from GK to forwards. After last season I expected some new additions but this is a major overhaul. Not complaining but certainly an observation. Only 2 players on the roster were with the original DDL PDL team.

I will say one thing: I don't think whoever updates the website speaks English as a first language. They might update it directly from Twente.

Judging by your screen name I'm assuming you're related to Taylor? Good luck to him this season.
