Payne is going to have accountability. They won't be in the basement much longer. Like that waiter/waitress who half asses it because he/she knows that 18% gratuity that is coming regardless of how crappy her service is.

Don't think you could expect any more than that really. All we have are his MLS rights. He's not playing here*, so we get zero value not trading his rights. Take what you can get and move on.

*at least that's the assumption everyone seems to make.

Oh I agree getting allocation money would be good. I was just looking over their roster and all their guys seemed to fit into two categories; guys they wouldn't trade or guys we wouldn't want over Robbie.

Yeah the only guy I could see them possibly considering expendable would be someone like Ring. Everyone else (even Ring really) I would think that they would feel they need with the extra games coming up this season. And as mentioned upthread, yeah $100k is probably a tad optimistic, I'd expect more like $60-75k, not that we'd ever hear the true amount

SJ has Chavez, Salinas, Garza, and Hustedt to play on the wing. I can't see them giving up much to get tRR.com.

Garza and Hustedt are unproven. Salinas is speedy but injury-prone and really nothing more than a journeyman. Chavez is currently hurt, he's good but he also plays down the right. I think they absolutely need to shore up their flanks, and they will, just watch. Now whether or not they would move for Robbie, that's a different question. They ought to be interested though.

    Just curious here:

Are you saying this because The Filth have never been terrible under Payne?

If this rumor is true I do feel sorry for him. Freddy Adu to TFC. Eric Hassli was traded to Dallas.

Is this the final nail in the coffin that was freddy adu's career?

No, I'm saying it because any accountability is going to be leaps and bounds more than they've ever had.

Btw, anyone else see John Carver making an ass out of himself on the sideline during the Newcastle vs Chelsea match?

    Apparently it's not true.

However, the Union has reportedly tried working out deals with a number of MLS clubs - and it's hard to believe that anyone would want him - but that Adu and his agent have shot down every proposal. Little Freddy doesn't want to be in MLS and is aupposedly certain that Europe will come calling if he just hangs in there.

Can he really be that delusional?

Meanwhile it's clear that Philadelphia simply will not keep him around with his inflated salary, sense of entitlement, lack of work ethic and terrible attitude.

Maybe his old BFF and Bradenton roommate Danny Szetela can put in a good word for him down at the car wash.

I thought one of the other posters on here said something a few months ago about Clark focusing on the KC Chiefs and Dan taking the reins in regards to FCD and MASSIVE.
