Stoke will be a good move for Shea. Pulis seems to think highly of Geoff Cameron and probably hopes to replicate that with Shea.
Maybe not, but "She(a) fell over" will be a huge ironic hit in England if he's in the team when the clayheads come to town.
Fat Frank coming over to the Galaxy??? That fat arsed money grubbing traitor going to the Dark Side once again.
As of 1:09pm, Indy Pro Soccer had accepted 994 deposits for season tickets; making it incredibly likely they will have received 1,000 deposits in less than three days.
There wasn't a specific target, but they had received 2,500 pledges (no money required, just "Yes, I'll buy tickets") before the press conference. So a 40% conversion rate in three days would seem to be good progress.
I don't know that Houston should be considered an expansion team. If not, I suppose the answer is Philly.

It's really interesting to look back now and see that he was successful at two of the worst gigs in the league.
I guess the Whitecaps have added all of Paulo Jr., Tom Heinemann, and Corey Hertzog to their roster. They have to have the most forwards an MLS team has ever carried.
Shalrie Joseph not Mexican enough for Chelis. Would we want him? We do have one of the least experienced teams in the league.
I think he is past his prime. Not sure I think he has the athleticism we are going to need as a DM anymore. Plus he would have to come way down on his salary.
He's definitely past it, but I always enjoyed watching him as a player. At his best there was no one like him in the league. If the price is right though, I wouldn't say no.
Just been reading about this guy Jose Cuevas. Apparently he had a goal and an assist against us in the Challenge Cup last year, then went on to be named USL Pro Rookie of the Year. He got an extended look from the Quakes and now is on trial with Seattle along with about 70 other guys. Can't find any info on how he's done thus far. In spite of all that competition, I won't be surprised if Sigi signs him, after all it worked out for him when he signed Ozzie Alonso from Charleston. If for whatever reason he doesn't though, I hope we can bring him in for a look.
