As most of the drafts are starting next week we will have quite a bit more traffic in this forum.

Usually right before the English season gets underway, spammers jump on here and promote their games or infiltrate existing threads.

As one of the mods in this particular part of Big Soccer I encourage you not to engage in any wars with these kinds of posters, just report the post and it will be taken care of.

I will be on here quite frequently but will not necessarily be checking every post in all four drafts, that's insane. If you see a post that needs attention, please report it, it sends me an email instantly with a link to the post in question.

Thanks and good luck to all in the upcoming drafts. PM me if you have questions/concerns

    Mark

Bumping this thread -- start a conversation with me or report the post and I will act on it if necessary.

Good luck to all in the various drafts.

Can I report my posts to get your attention.

    :)

This 'start a conversation with me' bit sounds really wierd. 'PM me' sounds much better; and is what most people are used to. Where did it go?

People usually just want to send a Private Message, not 'start a conversation'.

Where did this software come from, it's ludicrous. So is not being able to reply to a post unless you want to quote all the time. Geez. Who's to 'congratulate' for this switch?

The conversation tool replaced the PM feature -- I don't like it either.

Aside from the convenience of the abbreviated phrase "PM", I can't say that I've found it to be better or worse in any substantive way. I suppose it's a small plus to be able to see the entire exchange if prior PMs hadn't been copied, but my impression is that the biggest "benefit" of the switch was the ability to have more users involved in a single conversation. I haven't invited additional people to join a conversation, but I suppose I could see it's benefit.

I think the difficulty is more in finding the feature in the first place, once it is found it functions the same way. I don't understand why it was hidden.
