DP is a great gamble to take imo. You're talking about a guy who was a NT starter when Pekerman took Colombia and was one of the few actually producing. He's had some bad advice as this is his 6th move in about 2 years. He was doing very well at Atl Nacional, then really wasnt given a chance in his short stay at Parma, then showed great form for Betis in the 6 months that was there and was already scoring at Monterrey when he was sold. He didnt start the preseason with Valencia but did well in his initial start with the team until the new DT came in for Dec and relegated the guy to bench duty. He's VERY quick and agile and is a good finisher. I think he'll fit in nicely in Sao Paolo and as I mentioned before as good bet as one can make.

What do you expect? One team he's doing wonderful and the very next, it's terrible.

I expect consistency, that what I always expect.

Dorlan needs to find his form. On/off consistently will never get him a place on the nt.

Yet we call Teo who has way better form with Colombia than River Plate, or how it's the opposite for Jackson...

Want an unbiased point of view.

A speedy player with a rocket of a shot. Decent passer and has good skill moves, not the best skills but good moves.

Here's the catch, he's inconsistent, hint he's been to several teams already. So São Paulo is gambling if he going to be effective or not.

Not denying he shouldn't be called, but players are ahead of him. He's in that no fly zone until he's worthy.

Regarding Teo I still don't think he's worthy as a starter but everyone else does so I let it be.

Jackson is on a goal drought with Colombia but in the past has proven to be worthy as a starter. As far as pabon he was worthy as well but I still believe Ramos and montero are ahead of him.

Teo has done wonderful for the national team and he's earned his keep.

While I agree that Monero and Ramos have had a better season, that doesn't stop Pekerman from calling victor ibarbo who hasn't been as impressive as Montero himself.

The players that get called up matter on how they contribute to the national side rather than their club side; hence Teo was partnered up with Falcao when Pekerman came in instead of starting Jackson.

16 goals in 19 appearances of all competitions doesn't stop the fire...especially when he was top goal scorer in portgual during the last friendlies that we had...

Sonders fans can tell you that Montero has been great, his goals may have went down but his assist went up

I think that sounders' fans will tell you he is a "pechofrio"... He always got lost on playoffs (of course the whole team was absent)

I still can't believe that a player as good as Montero failed so miserably in Millos. I am not blaming him for it, just amazed at the bad handling from all parties.

Good move for him. Pay well and good for his style. Tho players younger than 26 shouldn't go to Mexico
