I figured this could be a catch-all thread for news/match reports for our boys away on loan. They Young Gunner thread focuses mainly on reserve & youth teams - this can focus on the goings on of the lads away.

So far, I believe, we only have 3 guys out. There'll surely be more to come:

    MF Denilson, Sao Paolo, season-long
    MF Wellington, Levante, season-long
GK James Shea, Dag & Red, season-long

Thusfar, Denilson's been sent off in his first match in Brazil - quite a homecoming! :D

Please add news of any Gunners out on loan.

Mixed thoughts for me, here. Rangers loved him and he'll get plenty of time with Weir being old as shit and Bougherra's likely transfer. But, I'd prefer him as our 4th CB as opposed to Squillaci.

    So, to update:

    MF Denilson, Sao Paolo, season-long
    MF Wellington, Levante, season-long
GK James Shea, Dag & Red, season-long
MF Samuel Galindo, Gimnastic de Tarrogona, season-long
    DF Kyle Bartley, Rangers, season-long
    DF/MF Pedro Botelho, seaon-long

Poor kid. But if you've been living somewhere five years and don't have any friends, it's your own fault.

ps. Our stadium only holds 60,000. Make friends with .01 percent of them, and you're fine.

 Shea took one on the chin today in the Carling Cup. 5 nil loss to Bournemouth.

Wait, let me guess, he delivered an errant square ball or an outright hospital ball, got caught loafing, failed to track back, and compounded his mistakes by clumsily fouling someone in the box for a critical penalty? :) :)

denilson and nuke are, indeed, two of a kind.
no idea. i didn't see it, only caught what young guns posted. if i had to guess it'd be one of those sticking his leg out and leaving it for someone to trip over bit that he kept doing his last season.

those disappointed the hell out of me.

Denilson has actually been performing really well, his pass completion rates have been very high.

I've even heard people say he should be called for NT, but hey at the moment Brazil are all over the place so i dont think it's a big achievement currently.

Further proof that he has picked up some bad habits and become a very lazy player. At least his friends can see him stinking the place up now.

That is what had been driving me nuts in previous seasons. He made more critical mistakes per minute than any other regular by quite a bit. I never understood what people/Wenger saw in him. Sell him for whatever you can get. This loan is probably one of the more obvious addition by subtraction moves Wenger has made in years.

i think i've been proven right on this one.
seemed like people wanted to act smarter than they are and say denilson did things that "the average fan couldn't see".
    what a joke.
