I don't think you can blame Donovan for not mentioning MLS. Letterman has his questions, talks a lot himself and is pretty quickfire in what he asks. Short of interjecting there wasn't much he could do.

Personally I think Letterman is a shite interviewer. You get the feeling he's been prepped on what to ask and doesn't really know the subject. And that's not just footy related.

 

Agreed. Letterman's interview skills are like Ralph Wiggum's dating skills. "So, do you like stuff?"

There was another charity thing a while back, where I remember Donovan playing FIFA. He got his ass whooped then too, I just don't think he's a gamer.

 

I think he IS a gamer...just not a very good one...and I dont blame him...how on earth does a guy like Landon get the time to play video games?!?!you know what i mean...

 

He also spanked Drew Carey when they had a celebrity match a few years ago.
