No ... f**k ... way. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/s...onaldinho-in-negotiations-with-gremio?cc=5901 It's probably nothing more than Dinho's agent using a phone call to help drum up business, but its interesting. Since I'm convinced Dihno is the laziest player on the planet, I'm hoping this never gets past the hoax phase. Still, it's fun to see signs of life. Hopefully talking about high profile players will translate into acquiring some high profile players.
You obviously have only been watching match highlights of him in the serie A over the past few seasons. There has been nothing lazy about dinho.
I thought he was lazy in France and Spain too. He was flash with little substance at PSG and his glory days at Barca came to an abrupt end when it became clear he wasn't interested in doing a whole lot of running. Pep wanted no part of Dinho.
A guy who tracks back even in the 93rd minute is hardly lazy. look up ronaldinho 2009-2010 on youtube.com please. He's not lazy and he found his form again.
Milan never wanted to get rid of him. the owner has said time and time again he is the greatest player of all time (look it up) but the owner and the coach are in disagreement of who should be playing on the left. the coach believes is binho and the owner believes it's dinho. Of course the coach is going to win most of the time or the owner would be over stepping his boundaries so that's why binho is playing. And he refuses to test them out together. So, dinho doesn't want to come in late in a game and he refuses to practice if he can go somewhere else. Keep in mind, if milan aren't happy with the offers made to them for him, they won't let him go. He's a incredible asset he's just lost his grace with the starting squad. It was really the Real Madrid-vs-Milan game that killed him. But, everyone on the team played like crap that game, not just him. I think the big problem with people is they read too much and don't watch enough games of these players to truly get the whole picture. by the way, the rovers just offered 7.2 mill for him.
Dinho sure is a stand up guy. The coach isn't playing him because his team is better without Dinho. The owner is saying nice things because he's trying to get back some of his money. And Dinho's been playing like crap against Real Madrid for years. His last two years in La Liga he was useless against Madrid, a ball-losing machine. I'm still hopeful that Dinho's cosmopolitan instincts lead him away from Blackburn ... or that a club like Newcastle swoops in because it hasn't wasted enough money on bad contracts lately (and that IS the definition of Newcastle football). If he does come to Rovers, I'll root for him to harness his talent and check his various pathologies at the door. If nothing else, he and El-Hadji Diouf on the same team should make for some fine adventures in babysitting.
I can't believe a team fighting for middle of the pack table position is angry his owners are contemplating swooping up a 2 time world player of the year who is not injured and in fantastic shape. Dear god. What were you hoping for? messi? Jesus.
I'm hoping for someone whose effort and commitment isn't so fickle. Because of his crap attitude, Dinho has not aged well. The skills are still there, but he's lost a step (it happens to everyone) and no matter how much you insist otherwise the entire planet knows he's not a particularly hard worker. I'm not sold that he's inclined to make the necessary adjustments in his game, let alone handle the physical/fitness demands of playing in the Prem. Milan should have been an ideal fit for him and it didn't work out. Like I said, if he comes I'll get behind the move and hope for the best. It would be exciting even if it turns out to be a disaster. I'm pro-exciting by nature. Yet that doesn't mean I've changed my mind that Dinho, talented as he is, is a guy I like to see lining up for the other team.
your one loss away from being in the relegation zone and your saying you'd rather play against ronaldinho then have him help you. your out of your mind.
No, I'm saying that I'd rather spend the money on someone who'd give a damn. You may be a Dinho fanboy. I'm not. As it turns out, per the ESPN transfer blog - Gazzetta Dello Sport is reporting that Ronaldinho has signed for Gremio on a permanent deal, dashing Blackburn Rovers' hopes. Supposedly Blackburn has moved on to Roque Santa Cruz. However, if they're doing reruns, I'd still rather have David Bentley.
Dinho was never going to come to Blackburn. There was never really any point in talking about it. Santa Cruz, Duff, Bentley - they are far more likely to return. I'd love to see Rocky back doing his thing. Revelian
An argument can be made that there's never any point in talking about anything. It's either not going to happen or it is. Meanwhile we're onto page 2 of thread on this board for the first time in how long? That alone has me sold it was worth talking about. Thanks to Flagreekguy for the spirited argument. And related to Dinho, was Blackburn looking for the free press or is it seeking a creative player it can slot in behind a lone striker? The latter would be a stylistic choice, specifically a 4-2-3-1 stylistic choice.
Well, the door isn't entirely shut COMPLETELY. Galliani hasn't agreed to gremio's terms because they aren't offering any money like black burn is. Now, that's not to say he will come to england. But, what it does say is he may be on his way back to milan until june when his contract expires. That's not important to you guys until your name is brought up again so i'm going to stop trolling your respected board. Good luck guys.
