This what worries me about this game. If we lose it could ignite the rest of the season...

Outside of the BL title of course.

Best case scenario. Win tomorrow and draw Schalke for the quarters. Please english football God, make it happen!

Come on, Schalke in the QF would be boring. Give me at least Porto/Villareal or PSG/Valencia.

Can you imagine a BVB-Schalke Champions League match, now that would be intense.

Well if all three german teams advance, the odds are good for german teams to play each other.

    Malaga I am assuming..

Out of all potential 1/4 opponents these would be better odds for us.

    PSG/Valencia
    Porto/Malaga
    Schalke/galatasaray

The rest we can fight in the semis..

I hope all 3 German teams advance and make the Semis, would love to see a Schalke/BvB clash. That would be soooo exciting especially if Schalke could get some of their injured players back

RMCFkevin freaks that shit out of me every time he comes in here supporting us.

How on earth do you end up a RM fan and Bayern supporter at the same time????

I rather cut off my best friend's dick (not willing to cut mine off) than support RM.

Just how do you do it man?

I can certainly understand why you may feel that way.

Basically Real Madrid was the team that "found me". You can read about that here (just scroll down you will find my post):
    https://www.bigsoccer.com/community/threads/madridistas-about-your-club-questionnaire.1736251/

As for my German soccer interest, I really just enjoy watching the Bundesliga and supporting the National Team (DFB). I have some German ethnic roots in me thanks to my mom but really I like a lot of things about the league. Its most of the time an exciting season with; boisterous fans, cool designed stadiums, a good mix of team colors in the kits, many NT players play in the league, etc. So I really like seeing German club teams do well in Europe. Its just something to be proud of I guess.

Now with that being said, I just love talking about German soccer and this forum is the most responsive/knowledgeable english speaking Bundesliga forum I know. No sprechen sie Deutsch. Most of my friends who like soccer here in the States only follow the lame EPL and its just annoying how they blab like its the best thing since a Nutella and whipped cream chocolate-chip cookie sandwich. So I'm honestly not here secretly trolling or trying to confuse people, I just LOVE fussball and talking about it with others.

Don't kid yourself guys, I remember the 2006-07 CL RO16 knockout round and last year obviously. I actually went crazy in 2006-07 when we lost (screaming/shouting/throwing my remote at the TV after school) and almost went postal last year. With Schweinsteiger being my favorite player, it really hurt having him score the winning PK against us. I almost ripped apart the huge Vinyl Art poster of him I paid hundreds for hanging in my room

Basically I love football (playing, watching, talking about it, etc) but I'm aware there are other things out there in life that are more important (like our HEALTH, performance cars, houses, friends, family, etc). So I just try to keep that in mind when talking with other people about soccer. And you know what? Its hard even for me sometimes to stay calm and remember that all of the time especially when I talk to bandwagon manu or barfelona fans. Especially when people laugh at you when your team is playing lousy. I give them a confused look since I'm not a Real Madrid player who can go out there and determine the result, high five/chest bump Ronaldo when he scores, or walk into the RMCF locker room everyday without being arrested. Some of these people think they are one of the players or super uber best friends with the team when in fact if you tried to talk with them in person they could tell you to "******** off" or ignore you. Its not worth getting that "obsessed" about. At the end of the day we all have the same basic needs, fears, hopes, problems, dreams and what not and they are the things which mean the most at the end of the day.

Sorry for the novel there ^^^ but I hope you guys don't mind me posting in here. I kind of feel like some parts of this forum is sort of a family in some regards and its a privilege to be a part of

this is the DFB cup thread but while we are talking
    the best scenario
Bayern - Schalke the winner against PSG-Porto
    the worst
    Bayern-Real/Utd against Juve-Dortmund

Laugh at me all you want but I'd rather have an in-form Daniel van Buyten play what he's capable of and rely on the protection from Schweinsteiger and especially Martínez than another Boateng brain fart.

    Seriously.
