If we can't beat BvB in this form when will we?
Also, we have an extra day of rest(not to mention that we rested half our starters)

I don't know where this javi injury thing is coming from..

Nothing was said about it, JH took him out to rest him.

As for this game, this is by far our biggest challenge so far this season..

Not 100% sure what will happen, bvb have a way of nicking a goal in on us at any time..

We gotta beat these guys finally...

I'm not always a pessimist. But teams with BVB's pressing or chelsea's defense I feel like those teams are our kryptonite :p

Well... given the 17 point lead in the table, unless both BVB and Bayern make it to the CL final (possible, but odds aren't in favor), this very well could be the last meaningful match up between the two sides this season. This is said with all honesty, not disrespectfully, judging by the remaining fixtures. They way I see it, of the remaining 11 fixtures in the Bundesliga, Bayern would have to lose 6 of their remaining Bundesliga matches and BVB win all six of those opportunities - given the two sides remain on equal terms the other 5 matches (win, lose, or draw) - in order to surpass Bayern. Our only other meeting with BVB is the 3rd from final week of the season, and the title could be well and done with by then (knock on wood).

[Mind you, I am not statistical wizard and this is purely elementary math I am doing here; I am sure there are much better explanations than the one I present.]

I was just bragging on Friday night at my indoor game to a Pole who was sporting a Lewandowski national team t-shirt that this is one of the best fixtures in all of world football presently. It truly is watching some of the highest level soccer, both played and coached, in the modern game.

I look forward to a cracker of a match! BVB will be pumped like no other. Bayern beware!

Imagine we lose this and then draw BVB in the CL, the pressure will be huge.

I win against BVB will give the players more confidence for a possible clash against BVB in the CL

that would be worst case scenario, especially if we lost on Wednesday in heartbreaking fashion like blowing a late lead or just getting demolished

HOWEVER, I believe we win this one!!!
