From World Soccer Shop Didn't replicas cost $64.99 a couple of years ago? Hopefully Adidas won't start pulling the same stuff they do for the MLS teams. The difference between the replicas and authentics are pretty noticeable, and I don't feel like paying $182 for an authentic with patches and player.
there is a huge difference between the two. it's not just the patches. the material is different, and the cut is extremely different. i'm 5'9" and 148 lbs and work out and play soccer on a very regular basis. i also am personally very picky about how my clothing fits. not to get too carried away about it all on here, but i have issues with the way the replicas are cut a lot of the time. i have to get a youth XL and even then the sleeves are still cut super baggy. it's a matter of personal preference but when i have to go down to below a small to get something that doesn't fit me like a tent, i get frustrated. i blame the US demographics. long story short, i'm a medium in the most recent adidas authentic jersey i purchased, when the replica small was well too big on me. i hate paying the extra money, but when it comes down to it, i'm going to wear the authentic more because i like it better.
Anyone know why new shirt is $20 more at the USA store than the original one? You can get a printed replica for $102 instead of $122.
Kitbag has the player printed jerseys and PL patches for $85. I have no idea if it's the Lextra printing, but that's not a huge deal for me. I might have to pick one of those up.

I like this away kit. Basic, no-nonsense, no frills, no flash, no fancy diagonal sash, no checkers, just seems all about the game. I like it.

anyone seen the authentic away anywhere? world soccer shop is selling the home authentic, but not the away as of right now. best combined line-up of home and away in years. i'm going to have to get them both. and combine that with the best looking training range in years and my wallet is about to get a bit lighter.
just ordered a lampard home jersey with patch along with a sleeveless training shirt and last years white goal keeper shorts. (the shorts were only $14) all from kitbag for 143. not bad i guess
