Rough start for ugly green, taking such a hard loss so early in the season.

    Betis' first six:

    Recre
    at Getafe
    Sevilla
    at Farsa
    Real Madrid
    at Villarreal

You could be six games in and nearly relegated already :D

For a club like Sevilla, the ugly green are really just a zero to the left.

I will remember this post after Los VerdiBlancos smoke scumbag seville. The best part about it, will be watch those bums flop like fish out of water. Can't wait, just can't wait ;)

Bro, I am a Chiefs fans & I resent that statement. Especially after the faders beat the Chiefs last season for the first time in 5 years. Nope, scumbag seville doesn't have that type of domination of Los VerdiBlancos. Like the song says, in the end, we win :D

Couldn't help it; the ugly green remind me so much of the raiders. :D

BTW, when is the last time the ugly green beat Sevilla? Oh yeah, when you took the CL slot with the deep fade, while Sevilla took thier first European Cup. Oh yeah.

When Varela busted that volley from like 25meters out. So that had to be like 2k6. Ok, you had our number past couple of seasons, but this year Los VerdiBlancos have a secret weapon ;):p

Why has Betis scored 0 goals after three games? It will only get better, this Wednesday Barca in Nou Camp and Saturday Madrid at home, then Villareal on the road. I somehow get the idea that this team will still be at 0 goals scored with two points and Chaparro will be given the boot, since the new owners** take charge on 4 October.

** New owners in name only as Lolo will remain as part of the directiva!!

I've been out of Big Soccer for a while do to work issues. Hope to be back soon. But I do have to come here this week and give a big, hearty thanks to the ugly green for gifting the three points to Sevilla this weekend. We'll put them to good use on our way to the Champions League!

    Thanks again, ugly ones.

PS: Robdog, just wanted to get your thoughts on the Chiefs' moves. I'm glad to see Edwards go. He's just too predictable. But I do like the direction the team is going. I think they're better than their record last year. With a better coach (Haley) and Pioli I see good things coming.

Look who came back from the dead;) Bro, you might be right, because in the first meeting the refs took away a legit goal from Los VerdiBlancos. I guess there is a mob in Espana too:eek: Don't worry, you will have some issues in this match. A victory will not be easy for either side. Hell this win might right Los VerdiBlancos ship into the right direction:D

What?? The Chiefs had a great year. They beat the faders & the donkies. That is a winning season in my book. We shall see about those moves, but Derrick Thomas is in the Hall of Fame now. So goto to La igelsia & light a candle for DT #58...My favorite Chief

The ref just called it how he saw it. When you lose, don't excuse.

Winning those two teams is satisfying, especially knowing the win over the donks helped knock them out of the playoffs. :D I liked DT a lot, and he is overdue with his enshrinement, but my favorite Chiefs are Buchanan and Lanier. I still remember Buchanan picking up that punk Blanda, spinning him around three times, and throwing him like a bag of rags. Great times.

I wouldn't be surprised if the West is a fight between the Chiefs and the faders next year. They both looked better at the end of the year, while the donks and the chargers are one year older.

The question remains, what did he see???

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54d9Qnc-kNk]You tell me why this goal is no good[/ame]

My favorite DT moment was when the Chiefs where playing the faders in the 1998 season opener. Jeff George was the qb for the faders. The faders had the ball on their own 2 yard line. The fans at Arrowhead were going crazy. DT is standing over the center & points to George, then gives him the signal of safety. The play begins & DT sacks George in the endzone for the safety. Good Times :D

Well, the Donkies will be rebuilding. No Shanhan to help create an offensive powerhouse ;) The Chargers used to be Arrowhead West, I mean their coaches & players were from the Chiefs of the late '90s.

Because the ref doesn't like a bunch of dorks running around in green snot rags?

Anyway, here you go. Looks like you need them.

QDog good to see you back in action. I figured that you were out due to work related issues, did they send you TDY to the sandbox??

I am swamped here at work with layoffs and all I am keeping a very low profile so it's work work work and muy poco futbol! So much so that I an no longer doing the prediction league I just don't have the time!

I will be sitting on the sofa tomorrow with Pichi Jr. watching the match live and enjoying some nice tapas and vino wondering if Oliveira will bag a couple of goals in the Pocilga!!

3 points for the Beticos would keep us out of the relegation zone for a while, especially since we hit the big 4 part of the schedule coming up: Barca, Madrid, Valencia and Villareal. Chaparro is not a good coach and that is becoming more evident as the weeks go by, Ricardo saved Chaparro's ass last weekend and it was ironic because Chaparro refused to play him all the while Casto was screwing up week after week after week!

Once again welcome back and Viva Er Beti Manque Lopera!!

No TDY, just a new job with new duties. I hope to be back on tract in a couple months. Until then, I doubt I'll be able to post much.

I refuse to dwell on the past. All I can see in the present is that Sevilla is still looking at Champions League while the ugly green is still closer to second division then they are to Europe! :p

After 13 years it was nice to win those 3 points in the Pocilga! It was great to see Oliveira back in green and white picking up right where he left off.
I would have loved to been one of those 850 Beticos who got tickets to the match, they were really enjoying the match!
