It looks like Brazil are playing the mighty Denmark in Hamburg on 26th May. Any ideas how Denmark sell their tickets for such a game - the agencies they use? Cheers.
********ing hell. The Danes are the one of the most enthusiastic set of fans on the planet, but they do not visit these pages do they?!
Though this match is played in Hamburg not very far from Denmark, it is Brazil that has invited Denmark to play this friendly and are making all the arrangements for this match... so it's the Brazilian FA that is the host and in charge of selling tickets, not really the Danish FA. .
Yes, that begs the question why not simply play it in Copenhagen? Perhaps we are afraid of another 4-0 tanking like in 1989!
I think it has more to do with the fact, that it normally cost a small fortune to get Brazil to play a friendly in Europe, but since Brazil were keen on facing Denmark, they invited the Danish team to play in Hamburg (so that is still an away match for the Danes)... In this way it does not look like they are giving Denmark a "free ride" (by playing it for free in Copenhagen) and then of course, it's also a bigger stadium in Hamburg, so there is a good chance for Brazil to sell more tickets to make a bigger profit... you also have to remember, that for all the Danes living in the mainland of Denmark (Jutland), it's actually just as easy to take the train or bus straight to Hamburg, than it is to travel to Copenhagen, though the trip may take a bit longer. .
.....looks like it is another away game for Brazil then! I will be the only Brazil fan there! I hope we get news of tickets soon.
