Is it enough to merit a WC spot in 2014?

I'm still not convinced of a true play-maker in back of Balo, or Rossi. At worst I think he should get a spot on the bench. Honestly, how often does the whole bench get used?!?

This is italy , not papa new Guinea and they don't bring a league part timers to major tournaments. This thread should be closed to save some posters dignity IMO.

    Yes, I agree.

    Please stop. Insanity is contagious.

Your like that sloppy drunk at 4:00 am…
    Vomiting on his shoes…
Trying to pick up the last girl at the bar…
Your friends just want to get you home before things get really bad…
    Let Falvo take you please…
And forget about everything said in this thread…

Thanks for sharing your colorful "opinions"....... They hold no more weight that anyone else's..... But when out of the coaches own mouth he mentions it's a possibility, I think I'll take that more than someone who isn't directly in charge of decision making for the national team... http://www.goal.com/en-au/news/4034...randelli-considers-del-piero-for-italy-recall And 17GP out of 20 is not what I consider a part-timer, but I guess that's just me.....

I should have written a as A league and by part timers I mean the league as a whole. The league is a w@nk standard, again this is Italy, they don't select from leagues like this. Use your head, of course he won't leave out his name as he was a good player but he won't select a forward line of veterans and if he chooses any it will obviously be ones who continued at the highest level.
